I have recently received hernia surgery. The surgeon was very arrogant bossy and at times angry. Informed him that my doctor already submitted paper work to have 6 months recovery time. He got mad and told me 6 weeks which is what he submitted to my accident insurance. No recovery or pain management instructions or concerning care only paper copy. This is the first operation I have ever had and it was a terrible experience. Have filled a survey out and have complained to Samaritan. I want to report my experience to them but as of now they have not responded. I terminated him after his review of my surgery. Will be seeing my doctor now. Will go to Corvallis from now on its what all local people suggest. He changed his progress notes trying to lie and cover things up. I have copies of both. Very minimal pain management. read more

So thankful I moved back to Montana where there are real doctors. I've been telling doctors in Newport that I'm anemic for over 5 years. All too arrogant to listen to the patient. I finally have had real treatment being back in Montana where I have been told that I'm critically anemic and have very little oxygen in my blood. He said this has been ongoing for years.
