Highly recommend Same Day Fence! My partner is a construction manager for a residential home builder so we are used to working with many different contractors. The entire experience with Same Day Fence was seamless from start to finish. When looking for potential vendors, I received multiple quotes for my job. This was also at a time when lumber prices were dropping rapidly so the quotes varied depending on when the vendor was pricing lumber. Same Day initially came in higher but when I brought them a competing quote and asked them to revise based on current lumber costs they not only met the competitive quote but offered to beat it. When it came time to install, their team showed up on time and even provided me recommendations for how build out the fence in a way that would look more appealing. I was replacing a 130' section of fence that was installed a year ago by my builder to make it taller and immediately noticed a big difference in the quality of work. Their installer paid attention to every detail, even custom cutting boards at angles to make them even with the ground given that my yard runs at a slope. I am absolutely impressed! We began our fencing journey with Home Depot, but that's a completely different story for another time. After being jerked around terribly, I was very apprehensive to even keep trying for a fence. I called Same Day and they came out less than 24 hours later to get everything set up on paper and gave me a price quote. Their prices are beyond fair, over $2000 cheaper than what Home Depot was going to charge us for 40ft less fence than what Same Day got us! They gave me an estimate of 3 weeks for installation, but they were here in 2! They arrived at a little before 8am, and they were done, cleaned up, and gone before 1:00. I am so happy. My fence is beautiful and very well done. They have the greatest customer service with friendly people and they are so quick and so efficient. I am beyond satisfied!!! I will start out by saying, not sure where they got there name, other than changing their quote the same day you sign the contract. My experience started getting several quotes for my new fence, I asked each contractor to quote a wooden "X" box wooden fence and a 6' Commercial Grade Black chain link. All said and done, Same Day came in second and after reading reviews I was propelled to go with this company for the chain link due to lumber prices being so high due to Covid-19. 30 minutes after I signed the contract which all stated that it was to be commercial grade with 9 gauge wire I received a call from Mike stating that he had miss quoted with residential pricing, I informed him that was not my issue and that he was not chosen because he was the low bidder, but in fact was second and each contractor had bid the same product but his time line met mine. He became a little irate and this should have been my first clue to just go with the next bidder, but I gave them a chance by agreeing to residential post, but keeping the 9 gauge wire, which caused the quote to be revised with an increase of 700 dollars, i felt this was pretty petty on his part, since I made the sacrifice. They scheduled my install date and I scheduled a day off work so I could be there to oversee the installation. They were scheduled for a Monday, but at 5:00pm on Friday they contacted me that they needed to reschedule, I informed them this was unacceptable since I had scheduled time off for this and they should have given me more notice. The lady I spoke with was very rude and confrontational, second clue I should have cancelled the contract, but I am a slow learner and left it alone. They were able to send 2 guys out on the scheduled date and removed my old fence and we got together on the way it was to be laid out, because Moe had drew the sketch as a square which did not match my yard and expectations. I checked the fence material and discovered that the wire was residential grade 11.5 gauge and I informed the installer not to take it off the truck, because it was the wrong wire. They continued the fence removal and went to start auguring the post holes and the auger would not run so they use post hole diggers, I did not verify the depth, but wish now that I would have. I did notice that they were using a post driver which again, I thought this may have been a way to level the post prior to adding concrete. While one guy was setting the post, the other was pouring in dry concrete around the post, then just poured water on the concrete and the other one started running the top rail and driving in the post to level them and working the post. Needless to say, when they left I checked the post and found that the concrete was not adhering to the post because it set up some while they were working the post, so I sprayed water on the post and found one post they didn't even put concrete around. The guys said they would be back in a couple of days, after a week and no word, my wife called and spoke to a woman that sounded like she was still in bed and got pretty rude with my wife, but said she would have Mike call me. When Mike called me, he acted like he was waiting on me to call him. he sated that I needed to be there when they returned so I could meet with him, I took the next day off to meet with him and the crew. They brought the wire and I had my caliper to measure the wire and it was the correct wire this time, but Mike insisted it was the same wire they brought before and I told hi it wasn't and he basically called me a liar, I should have threw him off my property then and cut my loses, At this point I was over it, I just needed my fence back up so my dogs could run around again. When it was completed, they did not have enough black post rings and used galvanized and painted with some type of rubber flat paint (Assume Flexseal). they did not have a latch for the double gate, which who ever made the gate I will give them credit, they are the only ones that read the estimate and saw it was to be Commercial Grade. Mike came out the next day with a latch for the gate, but it was for residential and I was not there and my wife did not know to look. One would think that when you see the latch is for 1-3/8" rail and the gate was 1-5/8" rail you wouldn't install, right? not the case. I now noticed that one of the gate post is not adhered to the concrete and is loose and spins in the concrete. I texted Mike and told him and he said he was at the doctor, but would take care of it. At this point, it has been 2 weeks and he still has not shown up, so I had it fixed. This is when we discovered that there is only about 6" inches of concrete semi mixed together at the top and the post is driven in the ground and after looking at the other post, all of them are scratch up from the post driver and the craftsmanship as a whole if ridiculous. With all this being said if you have made it this far in my rant, stay away from this company. read more

You'd be lucky to call this company "MAYBE same YEAR fence company". Very unreliable & no communications between the so called "partners". Neither agreed on the quoted price or time frame. Clearly we decided to go with another company. Good luck to whom ever signs up with them. In their response I guess their "same day" only applies to their quotes, not their fence installations. Mike and the guys installed a beautiful 6ft wooden fence along the interior of our property boundaries in less than 6 hours. Our yard is on an incredibly steep incline and the fact that the guys didn't even bat an eye, let us know right away that we were in good hands. They took their time measuring, roping, and including us in every step of the project. Happy, happy customers. SideNote: There seems to have been a slight miscommunication in regards to the placement of a gate, so Mike is coming back to fix it ASAP. SideNote2: They didn't leave trash behind in our yard. I can now confidently write a positive review for Same Day. Their price is competitive and inline with other providers. Matt, Mike, and the rest of the team are fantastic. I ended up going with Same Day after getting the ball rolling with another company that ended up being far too inattentive and unavailable during the planning stages of my fence project. Matt was great to work with throughout all of the pre-work (like visiting our house, drafting a rendering, and preparing the contract), and he was available by phone and text from the moment we first spoke through when the project was finished. The service on installation day was wonderful, too, with Mike and his crew showing up early, completing the job on time, cleaning up everything before they left, and- most importantly- confirming all the details with us before starting to work. Matt did an excellent job planning for the installation, but it was still terrific of Mike and crew to make sure they really understood all of our desires when they actually came out to install. Should also mention: before starting this whole project, I received three quotes, and Same Day was comparable to the other more mom-and-pop operation that I didn't continue on with (and about $1,000 cheaper than a quote from the installer Home Depot connected me with). My new fence was installed in June 2021, by early December 2021 part of gate look like it is leaning outward. I called they came to assess and told me that I was past the warranty period(which is three months from installation) and my cost for a fixed will be 1200+ for them to new post. If the job was done well to begin with, why should I need new post 6 months later. terrible business, I do not recommend this company. read more

We were putting up a new fence so I called 3 companies to see about getting estimate. I called Same day fence - gave all the specifics of what we were looking for and was told I would get a call back later the same day. I never received a call for 3 days so called back and spoke to a different person. I repeated everything to this person and again was told would hear back within 24 hrs. The job was scheduled for 6/5. On 6/4 you changed the date without asking if that worked for my schedule. You never disclosed that you were only sending 3 people for what you now call a huge job. It is admirable that you offered to add more people, and I accepted, but then you demanded cash payment in advance (instead of a credit card as required in the signed contract) and threatened to cancel the job if I didn't change my review. If you had just done the work as offered, I would have gladly updated all reviews to reflect a positive change. You handled this entire experience poorly. Not cool. read more

The crew was awesome and extremely professional. They cane a week before to give a quote and were back the following week and installed the fence in just two days. When they came to give the quote they were very informative and gave me a lot of details that other fence companies did not. It looks beautiful and we've been getting several compliments on it. I was going to give them a good score BUT they weee supposed to come back. They were supposed to put a handle on my fence and drill a hole in the concrete driveway to secure the other gate as I have double gates into backyard. They never came back after taking my money. Because their was nothing securing the bottom of the double gate my dog was able to it open enough to get out. My dog is gone and never returned. To clarify The handle they put on it is way up top but nothing securing the bottom. I even placed a lock at the top. A fence is only as good as the lock to secure the gate. As a housewarming present, I called these guys first thing in the morning and by the time supper rolled around my cousin wouldn't stop sending me pictures of his awesome new fence. They do not breakdown their invoices which when pressed they started saying things like there is a $300 trip charge and we charge $1200 minimum price. We are sooo happy with our new fence!! Matt came out and gave us the quote. We had some follow-up questions and needed to postpone the installation date several times due to other projects in the yard needing to be completed first. He was always so prompt and courteous, very patient with everything. Mike and his crew did a fantastic job installing the fence. I don't usually write reviews on sites unless there is a super poor or super positive experience and these guys were 5 Star amazing! They were very professional, provided a wonderful thorough quote with a clear statement of work and delivered just as promised! With many construction and yard crews there is often a bit of a mess left behind but they were the complete opposite and even took a bag of trash that I had gathered from the landscapers prior to them. I was expecting to have some more trash to pickup after they finished/left but they left the site cleaner than they found it! Professional, affordable and great quality! The fence looks great, lines are perfect, picket height/consistence is beautiful and they even sloped the sides down is a beautiful uniform decent. We moved to a new home and the previous owners had installed posts but not done anything else to finish the fence (privacy fence). Another company told us the price would be the same with the posts already installed. We thought this was ridiculous! We ran across Same Day Fence on Google. They came to give a quote when they said they would, were professional, and extremely reasonably priced. We were thrilled not to have to do the fence for ourselves. Due to other high priced companies, we thought we were going to have to. Despite the reasonable cost, quality was NOT compromised. Our yard was large, partially wooded, and awkward angles. They finished the entire project in one day! We had a few panels that were installed previously and they replaced missing parts and made it all flow nicely.
