By the third day, I was over it, and hadn't heard from the home warranty company yet. Steve had kept in touch with me every single day to let us know the status of what was going on. By the third day we were told by our home warranty company that it was ordered, but it would still be another 3 to 5 BUSINESS days! We are a family of 7 and I was immediately really upset. After talking to Steve again he decided that that was unacceptable and he wasn't going to let my husband and I along with our 5 kids wait that long. They called me and said they would be there in 45 minutes to install a new water heater. They were here within that timeframe and had it installed within a half hour. Steve is so amazing and I will forever recommend Complete Plumbing to everyone I hear that needs plumbing services. I'm really grateful for he and Jason installing it well and getting the job done despite the Home Warranty company being difficult and essentially causing their customer to be without hot water for 8 days. Their tech's show up to do minimal work and leave you with a massive shocking bill - often without even explaining what you're signing. They count on fear, urgency, and the lack of plumbing knowledge to scam you blind. I'm not just upset. I feel violated and robbed if this happens to someone more vulnerable like an elderly person it would be financial abuse. It's predatory behavior, plain, and simple.

I had leaking faucets in our two bathrooms. Was told there wouldn't really be a way to fix them and that replacement was the only option. Fair enough, they were both pretty old. But then came the quote $2600 was the lowest price for both faucets ranging up to $3800. When my wife said she didn't think that was in our budget we were encouraged to take out a loan to make it work. She said we weren't going to do that and said we would call back later when I got home from work. When I spoke with them they said they may be able to salvage one of the faucets and if so they could get it done that one done for $1100. (I had taken the handles off myself and didn't have the right tools to get to the cartridge that needed to be replaced but the part that needed replacing was less than $10.) I understand paying your people a decent wage but given that I had gotten 90% of the way to repairing it myself within about 30 minutes and the part was about $10 I figure they are charging about $1000 an hour. Which is insane. Well, I decided not to bother trying to fix it and took a day off of work to replace both of them. Spend about $300 and 8 hours of work but replaced all the valves, lines and faucets and saved myself a cool $3500.

Fast forward 18 MONTHS. the Jerk from Imlay shows up on my porch, univited and unannounced, and tries to slap me with a bill from 18 months ago claiming that it's now my responsibility to pay for it (for the punctured tube) when I never got any information back as to who was at fault 18 months earlier. Now, he has insulted my wife over email and insists that I am in the wrong. All the while, he had "proof" sitting on his desk and he "assumed" that it had been taken care of. I wouldn't recommned Imlay, unless you're a fan a getting bills 18 months late and being insulted. Hope he goes out of business.

He did an incredible job in only a few hours, installed a needed second strap (per code) and also installed a pan under the hot water heater, which the original one did not have, hooked up a new expansion tank, and hooked up the recirc hardware I have so we can get hot water instantly; and they did it all for less than I expected to pay Also, along with the standard six year hot water heater warranty from Rheem, Dino included a matching six year warranty on labor if needed.
