I think they gave me the tourist price and not the local rate. However, I can't really complain since the barber did a great job. When I flew back from Brazil to New York, of course, my nosey crew members asked me how much I paid. They all screamed "Oh my! You spent too much! We only pay 40 riels when we go to São Paulo, and we go to the one near our hotel. At first, I thought hmm....maybe they did take advantage of me since I didn't speak Portuguese. Oh well, maybe I should have asked before getting my haircut.

They face you away from…read morethe mirror when cutting your hair so you don't know what its going to be like until they spin the chair around but the haircut will blown your mind. One of the best haircuts I've ever had. Personalised service and offer beer water or coffee in the price but drink up because it is a little bit more expensive than elsewhere in the city however well worth it.
