There wasn't a wait time or anything to get a lane (3:00pm on a Monday) but not being a member did mean waiting like 10-15 min to be see while I waited for members to get checked into the range first which was expected so no big deal. The staff were great too. My dumbass went to not only the wrong lane, but also the wrong range and they were chill about it. They just had me and the guy who had reserved the lane I went to swap lanes. It costs a more than most ranges near me (for a non member), but the range is really nice, so worth the cost difference in my opinion

I cannot recommend this place enough!…read more I came in with a history of gun violence & this visit was to overcome my fear of guns. The check in process was very easy to navigate and the team members were very helpful. Jake helped me get set up at the desk & he assured me that the safety person in the range would be helpful too. It's clear that safety is a top priority here. They require you to wear hearing & eye protection before you enter the range room! I entered the range room & was initially shaken & tearful so I stepped out, wiped my tears & then entered again. John helped me slowly ease up to the bay & walked me through all the safety basics of the gun. He helped me grip it correctly and get a feel of it before the mag was even loaded. He imitated what the kick would feel like. Once I was comfortable with just holding it, he showed me how to load the bullets. I was shaken & nervous between each step but he was calm, reassuring, & patient with me. I eventually loaded the mag & did one shot. From there, my confidence built. Overall, I would recommend this gun range to any & everyone. As a woman who came here alone to face my fears, I feel accomplished & empowered. Huge shoutout to John for his patience, kindness & cute smile. To anyone out there debating:DO IT, even if you do it scared & with tears in your eyes!

I have never been challenged like this in such a welcoming, immersive, and authentic way. This course challenged my fundamentals ! Let emphasize what I mean by that, being proficient in anything is just a concrete stone mastery of your basic fundamentals. I learned through this course from the instructor first hand that "All of your basics will be in your advanced techniques" all of the basics you learn will then translate into the foundation you need to build on new skills. The service is friendly as always, my fellow students were amazing guys willing to work and train with me which made me feel great! I was the bottom of the totem pole in my class but these guys really helped inspire me and the instructor waiting up for me. When I say he pushed my limits he challenged me in a good way! If I messed up, we would slow down. If I was doing perfect, we would speed up. That was the best part it's always good to have good critiquing and good pressure in your training but it's a million times better when you know you're in a safe environment ! Instructor Rico says "safety is no accident" when you're in the class he teaches and informs you with his knowledge and you learn a lot as well as laugh a lot through that experience HOWEVER ! When you get to the range instructor Rico is all business. You still have fun but your safety is his number one priority and that's the way it should be so 10 out of 10 I can't say enough about these guys with just the training ! Let's get to the bonus 1. You are working and training with a wide array of different backgrounds, people, training, personalities, and most of all different proficiency levels. But that shouldn't discourage because all of the classes I have taken here it is a three step program !! Crawl, walk, and run. If you fall behind the pack Rico will take his time to work with you one on one. Ask the same question ten times and he will make sure that you know it before he moves on. He will find a way explain it in a way you will understand. 2. The space is clean, well kept, smells nice inside, and they have chips, water, this time we had fruit etc etc. there's a fridge for your lunch if you brought your own or you need to cold store medication. That bathroom smells amazing and is spotless you could eat your lunch off of that floor and the soap smelled amazing as well. 3. Weapons, there's a sign that says no weapons beyond a certain point. I don't have a car I had to Uber to my class so I couldn't leave my carry weapon in a vehicle however I would encourage you to be straight up with instructor Rico and be honest with him. If you have it ! Tell him you have it so he can accommodate. He's such a cool and understanding guy he will help you out. Just talk to him and don't try to hide it. I told you before that the instructor focuses on safety so help him keep that class safe by complying with the few rules this place has it's not hard to follow. I will close by saying do not come to this class with low expectations because I promise you I Guarantee you ! That you will learn a whole hell of a lot more from this class than what you would expect when you come through instructor Rico's doors. It's real world scenarios and practical training for the time that we are living in here and now!!! Real world training !!! Like the old saying goes "when the people are ready the teacher will appear" the teachers are here the training is here and it can only be found at ONPOINT SOLUTIONS

I've been to this place several times over the years. The main reason I've come in here over the years has to do with training regarding weather. I come in every few years for the storm spotter training with the National Weather Service. This is the location they normally hold it when it is done in Va. Beach every few years. The facility itself is quite nice. You will find lots of things related to firefighting and EMS, including lots of memorabilia. Generally, you do have to have an escort or badge to get into the building, but this was not the case this particular evening since the reason for the visit was the class. Overall, this is a nice facility to visit. I will say that during the break, I did take a look at the stuff around the place, and there was quite a bit. There was stuff that I didn't think was part of firefighting, but as I looked at some of those cases, I could see how they would be part of the overall mission. If you happen to have a class or other even that brings you to this place, it's definitely worth checking out. Be sure to thank the first responders for their service to our community.

As soon as you walk in, you will see several shelving units of many ceramic projects of all different themes and sizes on the left, with tables in the middle and right side and cash out desk in the back corner. If you walk down the passage a little bit, it'll lead you to the paint area. I didn't walk all the way back, but I am assuming that leads to the party rooms as several people were led back there during our visit. The kids picked their projects and then one of their staff members, led them to the paint bar and explained the different kinds of paints and gave them some tips on how to use the paint and tools. Things to note: - You pay a studio fee plus the cost of the item (most things have price tags on the bottom of the item) - they claim to be the only open paint bar in the area. They let you use as much paint as you want, so be mindful and don't be wasteful - they have some options for drinks and snacks, although very limited, but I guess this can come in handy if you end up being there for awhile and get carried away with painting (drinks and snacks were very inexpensive) - you must go back at a later date to pick up the projects, so they can fire them up and glaze them. - they also have non-ceramic items for you to paint like canvas and wood The turnaround was very quick! Not sure if it was a slower time or if it's because we didn't have that many people in our party, but the items were ready in just a few days! I was so surprised when they called. Underpromise and overdeliver is always a smart business practice. Great place to pass the time and "make" something of your own. Stay safe, Friends!
