Sareem is a life saver! I just started tretnoin and I can no longer wax my eyebrows. I looked around for a threader and found Sareem on yelp. Her shop isn't in the best location but that's totally fine. You'll be able to find street parking pretty easily. I went on a weekday and was in and out within 20 mins (eyebrows and upper lip threading). My eyebrows looked amazing. This was the best threading I've ever had. I usually get better results with waxing but Sareem is A+. She will definitely be my go to threader. 100% will recommend P.S. bring cash. Prices are lower if you pay in cash. Samreen's has redeemed themselves. Definitely a good deal, $5 and you can tell she's been doing this awhile. However, the cleanliness is definitely iffy. She pulled an eyebrow brush from off the shelf which obviously wasn't cleaned since it was used on her last customer. Also, they don't clean off the area with any disinfectant. Maybe I'm just spoiled since I'm used to Dimples threading salon. Again, great job on the eyebrows but terrible on the hygiene. read more

I have been here twice. I was hoping this would be my regular threading place now that I live in Philly. For the past decade or so, I have been getting threaded and for the past four years I've been doing full-face threading. This last time was such a bad threading experience, I think I will go back to getting waxed instead. The older lady was nice and had sculpted my eyebrows well, but was so violent that I had cuts on my temple (6 scabs as of two days later) and 1 beneath my right eyebrow. Worst of all, she went in multiple directions opposite the direct of growth and the hair was pulled not at the root, but the base: so I can see ingrown hairs are going to develop between my eyebrows and under my right eyebrow. Because of the cuts mentioned above, I cannot begin to exfoliate. So yeah, I am very annoyed. This business might say that it is my fault, that I am too hairy or that I pulled my skin too tightly or that my skin had pimples or that my skin is too thin and sensitive. But all these things are things that threaders must handle. I appreciate this business exists, because $19 for full face threading and eyebrows is fantastically cheap (and I tip well, as should you). The advantage of threading instead of waxing is, for me, about skin sensitivity: my stressful life has made my skin so sensitive, that I develop rashes on my upper lip from most lip balms. I am afraid waxing would risk evoking an allergic reaction. But wow, that risk feels less risky than that threading two days ago! read more

I love this shop! I've been coming here for at least 5 years. They are reasonably priced (cheap!) and provides quality service. They make sure you like the one eye brow before they move to the next and gives a tissue to wipe your tear lol. They are also friendly. It's local which is the best part.. I can walk there unlike the other places I go to for my other personal needs. read more

I came here strictly to get my eyebrows threaded. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded since 2007 so it's nothing new to me. Pros: It's only 5 dollars and she actually shaped my eyebrows really well from the Frankenstein blocks that they were. Cons: I got battle scars. I got my eyebrows threaded 2 days ago and I have freckled scabs under my eyebrows. I've never gotten scabs before. Eh I don't know if I'd recommend it due to getting scabs. I think I'm going to go back to paying $15 to leave the salon unharmed. read more

They offer a variety of services, although being African American, I am not sure that I could use them. I usually get my eyebrows threaded in Center City. I have been satisfied with the work, but, with tip, I was shelling out $15 each time. This place is incredibly more affordable-even though its a bit more gas-wise. I just walked in, was seated right away and I felt like they really listen to what you want. Very nice job with the eyebrows and very clean place. Sometimes, my skin breaks out and its been smooth sailing! Parking was really easy-a quarter yields you 44 more minutes than you need and it was right in front of the salon. read more

I got my make up done by Samreen last week for my sister's wedding. I told her I wanted a natural look and she did just that. My face looked flawless, I was in love! The other worker Pindi did my eyebrows and my henna. She was very sweet and the designs she made were very intricate. I totally recommend everyone to give them a visit if they want to be pampered. I love Samreem's beauty salon! I first came to the salon to get my eyebrows threaded because waxing is just awful for my skin and no one can seem to get my eyebrows even when I did get them waxed. I came into this salon hoping threading will have a better outcome for my skin and hoping that my eyebrows would be more even. Luckily, it did just that! I get compliments on my eyebrows ALL the time; shape, arch, cleanliness, etc... I have been coming to this salon for almost 2 years now and I recommend it to all my girlfriends.
