I come back the next day, waited 30 mins and they said it's all set and ready- that was 2 months and 15-16 days ago. I get pulled over yesterday, the cop tells me that my inspection sticker is out of date. He recommended me go to back to butler tires and confront them about it and get my sticker. I did, I told them exactly what happened and how they never put the sticker on, they tried looking for the file of my name (couldn't find it) they try looking up my plate (couldn't find it) then they told me that they don't keep inspection files past 2 months. (In Pennsylvania, im pretty sure it's illegal for an official state inspection station to discard state inspection files after only two months, they were pulling a fast one on me) I did like this place at first, they seemed nice and professional, bought tires here too but after this I'm never getting it serviced here again. I think they took advantage of me because I'm young. It's disappointing and disheartening to see. I wish the best for the business but man it's a shame.

I asked what was bent, the wheel or rim and they said same difference. Then they told me they couldn't find sell him a used tire to get back on the road. My brother told me to have them his tire in the trunk. They said they would but the rim was going on the used tire that they were putting on the car. Later that day, my brother looked over the tire and found the nail in seconds. He called them the following morning and, of course, they danced around the question as to why they didn't find the leak. They even told him the tire was bad. Needless to say he wasted $84. We only went there because our garage couldn't get us in. Regardless if you are a regular or one time customer, you don't treat people that way. I would think twice about going back to that business.

I ran some errands and returned in a couple hours. The flat was fixed and they replaced it quickly and left the spare in the back. The gentleman behind the counter was the same one that I spoke with early in the morning and he was helpful and courteous. Maybe when they stick with tires only they are more reliable. I can't comment on anything other than this one experience with a flat.

Today I had the windshield replaced my insurance paid for the windshield replacement. I go into Midas in butler to explain I need a new inspection sticker on the windshield the guy at the desk threatened to call the cops on me. I told him Midas is the one inspection my car couple months ago and I have proof the windshield was just been replaced today it's the same VIN number. My car is legally inspection.

After some discussion with the district manager, they agreed to service our car. This was a huge mistake. They intentionally put the bolt of the tires on so tight that our mechanic spent two hours trying to remove them to change our brakes. He said most places put the bolts on too tight to either break them or strip them causing the owner to ultimately pay more. Rude. Dishonest. Intentionally malicious. Poor service. That is this Midas. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

hows this for a warranty ? april 2022 needed front brakes…read more@38,221 miles-paid $603.13 for new rotors & lifetime warranty pads december 2024 "needed front brakes ?" @77,021 miles- they would replace pads "free" but needed front rotors again ! needed calipers! total charge to replace "free pads" $834.22. two days later they refused to give me new pads unless i authorized the $800 repair--took vehicle to a pa. certified inspection station, aaa recommended - front rotors passed state inspection, calipers were operating properly, but needed front pads-- the rear (which monroe never checked) needed pads - rotors passed but were near minimum ( @79,000 miles) i had them replace anyway-- paid $506.00 for front brake pads-rear brake pads -rear rotors + got state inspection- substantially less money for more service kind of obvious how the monroe warranty works ! would be prudent to get another opinion on price & diagnosis before authorizing any service by this monroe location.
