They offer a student membership for $40/year. The gas is consistently the lowest in the general vicinity of the 127 corridor. Get here early on a Sunday morning and you will find it less crowded and easy to navigate. The Member's Mark brand items are quality. Would recommend the body wash, paper products, socks, vitamins, and laundry detergent. The $5 rotisserie chickens are the bomb (not as good as YaYa's but they hit the spot), as is the ciabatta bread and the 5-cheese mac-n-cheese in the open deli area. The bulk feta is a great deal. The take-home pizza is not bad either. This club is consistently clean and stocked. A much better experience than the Wal-Mart next door.

Great location. My business membership gets me in and out quickly early in the morning. The gas station offers prices among the best.

This was the first that had a bunch of motorized appliances, and some sections that gave me a Home Depot feel (in a good way! Bc I'm usually super overwhelmed at Home Depot). We had an amazing associate (didn't catch her name, but she has amazing brows and red hair) help us choose our new tv and printer. It was a different layout from many of the Costco's I've been to, but thankfully everyone was super helpful when we were looking for specific items. We ended up having to come back for the tv bc we loaded up on too many awesome stuff, but Bobby was exceptionally helpful when I came back to pick it up. He also radioed in a request so that the people in front knew to ask one of the cart associated to help me lift it in my car. Amazing customer service - gold stars all around. A few things to note: - There aren't any self check out options for the store or for the food court. Not a huge deal since there were plenty of registers open and it wasn't super crowded. - Everyone was wearing mask. - The two Costco associates were super great when checking out. One of them proactively took charge of our cart and organized things so we didn't have to take a lot of items out and place them on the conveyer belt. First time I've encountered this and quite frankly an ingenious practice!

It was hot out, but then the ac in the stores were helpful. They have a forever 21, lululemon, banana republic, pottery barn, sephora, gap, game stop, victoria's secret, bath and body works, loft, express, american eagle, dick's sporting goods, pandora, and many more stores. There is few hotels nearby, I stayed at the Hyatt directly behind all the stores. There are super stores nearby - Walmart and Sam's Club. There are quite a lot of food options. I ended up trying out quite a few really good ones. They have Bravo Cucina Italiana - a nice italian restaurant. They have Boston's restaurant nearby if you want a more sports bar vibe. Champps is a great bar as well - they have a few food options with alcohol in it (even dessert). I did not try Capital Prime as I dislike seafood but I heard great things from others. If you are into fast food they have a culver's too. There are many other options that I did not get to try out, but it is worth checking out reviews. Overall, we had a good time walking around. They had music playing one night when we went to Bravo. Everyone had their own lawn chairs too. People were laughing and smiling. Many were seated outdoors to eat and get a view of the fun. It seems like an enjoyable spot

This was a place I relished once upon a time in college. Then my fellow Spartan and I used to take the kids up to their ice cream shop when they were babies. Now we come up here to find the truck and mini freezer stands to get our Melting Moments fix. Our favorite is the very simple ice cream sandwich. It is just a scoop of vanilla ice cream sandwiched between two perfect and chewy chocolate chip cookies. This time we each got one, no sharing. The mini stands also sell ice cream bars and frozen lemonade. If you prefer a wider variety, their food trucks offer a variety of scoopable flavors. I am not sure about now, but in the past they also did a customizable ice cream sandwich where you could pick the flavors. Since I did not use the truck this time, I will speak from my past experiences, but a lot of times they have the slush puppy frozen drinks. How they made it was some of the best slush puppies I have had, very smooth, icy, and delicious, not at all chunky or too icy. Very refreshing. I went on their site. I see they still have a kitchen in the Lansing area and will cater events. I have seen their ice cream in some stores from time to time as well. I try to have some of their treats at least once a year. Even though their store is gone, I am glad to still get a chance to have those treats. They are not only nostalgic, they are delicious. The kids love them too. It is a family tradition to have their ice cream together.

Each has their charms, and both have excellent locally produced ice cream. The advantage of Melting Moments is that in addition to good ice cream, they sell gelato, which I had begun to despair of ever finding in mid-Michigan. If you've never had gelato, it's a denser, smoother dessert than ice cream that is absolutely wonderful on a hot day. They also have great ice cream cakes and sundaes. The other big advantage of Melting Moments is ample seating capacity, unlike the MSU dairy store, which has no seating at all. And with two great local places, why would you ever go to the soulless corporate behemoth around the corner?
