Sam's Club Mankato is always clean, well stocked, and friendly. Never any issues shopping here! ever

I go to the Mankato Sam's Club as it is the nearest one for me. My experiences here have always been great. I especially like the Scan-n-Go. It makes shopping so much easier, as there is no waiting in lines just scan your items on your phone and total and leave. I also use the ship to home option also. Even though one of the responders complained about this, I have found no problems so far. This is of the reasons I am shopping at Sam's Club; I was a member at Costco for almost 25 years in that time I had only one return of a product. I had ordered the Kirkland Protein drink which was wrapped in plastic if you picked it up at the store. When they shipped, they just wrapped it further in plastic, no box just plastic. When I received the package several of the paper cartons were crushed and leaking. When I contacted Costco the only recourse they offered was to send out another case of the product. I even offered to return the damaged case for a refund. I asked to have a supervisor contact me, no contact was made. I typically order the Tart Cherry Juice from Sam's Club, they are always double boxed, never had a problem with a crushed box. So yeah, I think Sam's Club is great. read more

i go to sams mankato on a regular. eggs how do you run outta eggs? the last few times i have gone, there have not been any eggs, only the range free pricey eggs. i have never seen more holes in the freezer or the frige area and the main section of the store.what is the problem? the selections on mens clothes is a joke. unless your a 5'9 130lb guy,which i am not, maybe give a better selection for us bigger guys in the clothes department. the meat dept is ok they have a fairly good selection on the meats. the sweet shop has good sweets but there again there are many holes in the display. it seems like no one cares to be there anymore, i have gone to other clubs and seen the store being cleaner, brighter shelves stocked, and better selection then the mankato club. get it together sams mankato, im not the only one to notice, you may loose members. read more

The local store isn't actively terrible, but is certainly not great. As a former Costco member I was underwhelmed by most of the items in stock and their prices, and was entirely disappointed by the pathetic selection in the liquor department. Beyond that, I have to warn anyone in the Mankato area away from purchasing items to be shipped from samsclub.com. We initially joined Sam's Club so we could purchase a living room set from their website using gift cards and money received as wedding presents. We received a shipping confirmation which stated a date well past what was promised on the website, and things got worse from there. Nearly a week after the promised delivery date we called Sam's Club customer service to discover that they don't sell the furniture directly, but rather act as a front for a vendor, and that the furniture vendor released our shipment to a freight company who isn't actually permitted to deliver in Minnesota. Our furniture had apparently been sitting in a warehouse for weeks and likely would have remained there if we hadn't reached out. Sam's Club was unwilling to take any responsibility for this supply chain failure, instead passing the buck to the vendor who wasn't able to get us the furniture any faster than a snail's pace and wasn't willing to refund any more than a paltry percentage of the purchase price. We have instead decided to cancel both the purchase and our Sam's Club membership for a full refund, and will gladly make the drive up to Costco in the cities if we need to do any more wholesale shopping. Buying in store is fine but I don't recommend buying online from their affiliated vendors, you should limit to actual Sam's Club products. They don't really take responsibility for problems with their outside vendors, you will be on your own. read more

I am extremely pissed at Tire part of the sams in mankato mn. I was calling to make an appointment for my tire. I tried calling for hour in half they would pick up n hang up on me. So I stopped in there after getting hung on. The guy that came up n told me that I should have called and made an appointment I just blew up. Maybe if they answer the phone I could have. Never go to there. So I went to fleet farm and they helped me. So fuck u sams club tire center read more

I spend a chunk of my time in Syracuse and a bigger chunk here. They closed the only Sam's Club in Syracuse and I miss it. The staff at Mankato's Sams is welcoming and helpful! I also belong to Costco but you need to drive to Rochester or the Cities which is rather inconvenient. There are items which are better at Sam's and items that are better at Costco. read more

It's a typical Sam's club. Not that great, not that bad; you should know what to expect when you come here. However, if you're broke and looking to get your alcohol fix, shop at the liquor store here! Seriously! The prices are cheaper and there is usually not that many people unless you come right before close on a weekend. read more

I am extremely disappointed with Sam's Club's customer service. I ordered a bed online and was given a two to four week shipping timeline. On the last day of the four weeks, I went to Sam's Club and asked why I had not heard anything about the bed delivery. They said I purchased it online so they had nothing to do with it and refused to help me in any way. I received a call later that same day that the bed would be delivered in two weeks. When I asked why it would take two more weeks, I was told it had just arrived but the tracking record showed it had arrived two weeks previously. When I said I could pick it up that same day, I was told I would have to get permission in writing from the local Sam's Club who had refused to help me previously! I was charged $95.00 for this lousy shipping and will never order from Sam's Club Online again! Emailing the CEO of Sam's Club and the head of customer service produced not even an acknowledgement, let alone an apology. read more
