Tuesday December 17,2019 12:30p My wife and I decided to purchase a television for our new home. We went to our nearest Sams club in Odessa tx. We found a good deal on a Hitachi 40in tv so we bought it. After running errands and picking up our children from school, we finally were able to open our new purchased TV.( Exciting right!) When we opened the tv box we pulled out " A SMALL broken TV with no papers, instructions,or remote!!???" I look at the tag on tv and it said 26"inch! I immediately rush back to Sam's club to return item for the right item. "No big deal maybe someone missed placed wrong tv in wrong box" I said. I get to the return/ customer service section and asked that a "manager to come see what I was returning"! About five minutes later I hear a man's voice behind me saying" nah nah nah we ain't having that! We can't have that"! As he reaches me and the product I say" nah nah what!!? He said "we are not going to except that!? Except what I said? I bought this item like this. This is why I asked for a manager because this was strange. He said "you did not get that here. " Customer: yes I did! Check your cameras I came around 12:30p Manager: NO , we don't cary that brand nor size" Customer: what does that mean!? How could you guys sell me something and then say it is not yours!? Manger: I can't help you Customer: listen I'm not here for money I just want the right tv. At this point the " manager tries to storm off . I said heck no! wait, what is your name pls. He says "David" (he was a African American) Now I'm confused, embarrassed, and humiliated!!!!!! What in the world just happened?? I was left there standing like an idiot for at least 5 minutes trying to figure out what to do... Nobody never came back to tell me anything!! I even asked whatever workers were there what I should do!??? But no answer.. My wife and I immediately called customer service,BBB, and whoever else for answers. After an hour and 30 minutes someone calls us back..... I don't want a refund nor the dam tv! I want you to really really investigate to find out how that happened! Because for all I know Sam's club employee's and Managers are the ONLY ones with access to inventory! Somthing corrupt is going on at Sam's club and it BS that you guys did this to me!! I don't want this to happen to someone else and they not bring this type of issue up to anyone's attention. This is a serious matter. Sam's Club is false advertising TV sizes?!!! Someone in Sam's Club new about this and accepted it or Sam's Club just didn't bother looking at the return product. You can see where there is a second bond of clear tape on box.. read more

The second time in a week i went to pick up one or two items and you only have 2 Registers open to take cash each line with at least 10 people in it and self checkouts that doesn't take cash. So if you see 2 OJs and a 80.00 prime rib setting on the counter it was me! I'm so ready for midland to get Costco's because my Sam's membership will be gone! read more

Everytime I need the tire department, they never answer calls and when you're in store there is no one to help! I stood at the counter and called and one of the employees just ignored the phone and kept going. I shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes just to get waited on! read more

sadly we don't have a Cosco here to give competition. except for the 16 mile drive I probably would never shop at the Odessa Sams. Items are moved or discontinued at will, you spend much longer looking for your items because of the moving or discontinuance. past experience has taught me to avoid the fruits and vegetables section. and checking out is like pulling hens teeth. . . long , .long lines , usually only 1 or 2 checkers, even though several are running around acting like bosses. I always avoid self checkout,,, too hard to find a station that works properly. BUT I may be forced to start driving the 16 miles, have always had good experience at the Midland store, and it even looks cleaner and more personable. read more

I went Saturday the 17 2021 . To the Sam's club in odessa texas , the experience was horrible workers were not friendly mostly at the register . I was mistreated by justin , I wasted yes wasted 527.03 dollars in this pathetic Sam's club . Justin started to tap his fingers then saying hurry up. Give me the money I told it , call your manager . He just kept arguing with me, then he kept cussing at me calling me a bitch and other words. The other person in charge would not give me the managers name kept defending its friend , so I got the name from my recieit. On the recieit it says David Miranda is the manager of that Sam's club in odessa texas . Your employees mistreated me. Not only that . But your employees were bringing their personal life to work . I'm a customer not a person that wants to hear Justin's personal problems . I'm going to corporate about this . Then to put the cherry on top of the situation . Lauren a thing at the door kept harassing me as well , this other thing at e door must have been Justin's friend . This store is rated a zero . Though it doesn't have one on the rating board. I wish it did people working at Sam's club. We the customers dont want to know your problems . We just want to shop and go home. I normally shop Midland Sams but stopped in here to do my shopping when I was close by. It was like going to Walmart - painful. Lines were so long, it took 25 mins to get to the checkout with only two registers operating, one operating self checkout and the 10 items or less self check outs. People (customers) were extremely rude here, no surprise, it is Odessa. Staff was okay but nothing to rave about, they did bare minimum when I asked where something was located "uhhhh.... I don't know...." , found it on my own, in complete opposite direction I was directed to. Fruit was all almost bad, had maybe a day or two of life left. Vegetables were the same way, the only fresh vegetables I got were asparagus. I did buy some Taylor farms salad that appeared fresh and well within expiration date only to find out after opening it was in fact wilted and soggy, just like the customers and staff at this place. Yum. I am now reminded why I do not shop in Odessa. Born and raised here and it is not the same place it once was. Thanks Sams of Odessa for the awful experience. read more

What is going on with Sam s customer service in Odessa? We were there today and tried to renew our membership at the service desk to no avail. We waited in line several minutes behind 3 people as there was only one attendant at the customer service desk. A 2nd attendant walked up and asked how she could help us. We told her our membership had expired and we didn't know if we needed a new membership or just renew the same one, since we wanted a different type membership than the one we had before. She told us we had to do it at the checkout register. We asked 3 times if we could take care of it at service desk to ensure we didn't have problems at checkout. She insisted we had to do it at the register. We couldn't understand why she couldn't help us. I even asked her if she could lookup our membership and she refused. We proceeded to shop and had several items in our cart. When we got to the register we informed the cashier that we knew membership was expired and we wanted a different membership but, the 2nd lady at the service desk told us we HAD to renew at the checkout register. This cashier at checkout was very nice and made several attempts but was not able to get us the membership we wanted. She called a manager and explained to him what we had gone through and her attempts. He told her as we listened, that "we needed to go and renew at the service desk." He didn't even try to help us he just wanted us to go back to service desk. A good Manager who cared about store sales would've made every attempt to help us himself after what we had been through but, he didn't seem to care about our business either. We were so frustrated we decided to leave and won't be returning to shop @ Sams. read more

Been to probably 40 different sams clubs and this one is the worst. Always crazy long lines. Plus getting in and out of the parking lot will nearly kill you. It'll take you at least 40 minutes to get in and out of here bc of the lines read more

This sams club is very small compared to others for some strange reason... But all the deals are still there so thats good i just wish it was bigger so i would have a bigger selection. Expensive microwaves cheapest i saw was 90$ holy shit thats alot! read more

Called the Odessa store before we left town to see what time the tire center closed and we were told 7 pm. We drove 75 miles and arrived about 6:35 and was told we would have to come back tomorrow. If you are that BUSY close at 6pm so you can wrap everything up by 7. Needless to say I will never be back and the 2 star rating says it all! read more

Had the worst shopping experience ever tonight. This store is so disgusting and messy i cant believe its opened. It first started walking in to find there isnt any shopping carts available at all. So after finally hunting one down we had no help what so ever. Food boxes were opened and the store overall appearance was just nasty. Take n bake pizza looked like it had been there for weeks(the 3 pizzas that were there). So we go to the cafe just to find out they "ran out of pizza". So we buy frozen pizzas to make for dinner. Go to the customer service because they were out of cards for new memberships and i had to get a temp membership card just to wait in line for 30 mins. After i finally get my temp card i have to to wait in line to check out another 30 mins because there is only 1 cashier. And i didnt get a thank you or come again from anyone. It truly is sad how can this store be so horrible. The cafe was trashed. For "running out of pizza" so early they could have at least cleaned up the area. I honestly dont want to shop there again. I just got my membership too. What ashame ... i hope midland is better i would rather make the drive than to step foot in the odessa store again. read more

I recently stopped and ate a fast meal, (pizza and soda) at Sam'Club in Odessa, before setting out to shop. The associate behind the counter at the cafe/snack bar was down right rude, lacking in manners, and void of any customer service skills. I was never greeted, she never asked what I would like, in the form of ordering food. When I tried serval times/(3) giving her my order she kept turning away to address another employee about work schedules, and wanting to change her schedule with the other employees. She didn't give me the cup for my drink and she placed the plate of pizza far from me that I had to nearly reach across the counter. She never said, Thank You, and only spoke to tell me the amount. I would have complained to the management, but I didn't get her name because she was not wearing a name tag. But she was wearing a low cut top that revealed tatoos for all to see. Sam Walton would be turning in his grave. I still might seek out a manager to complain; maybe she can get some customer service training, at least a better attitude. read more

I just want to say that I am highly disappointed with this Sam's. The last four or five times we have went to this store we have placed an order to pick up a pallet of concession stand goods and they have always had something wrong with it. And when we call and tell them about it some how we are wrong and they give us a (dont blame me attitude). The place is poorly stocked. It takes them 30min to get things rolling to get a pallet of items for us or they mess around till we give up and leave. And the lines are ridiculously long. They only have 3 maybe 4 lines open for large baskets and it takes us 20 to 30 min to get out. They have at least 4 other lains available but the management just walks around talking and trying to look busy with there unprofessional clothing doing nothing to help out the long lines. This last time was the last time we will ever be there. I dont even want too give it a star. read more
