Dissatisfied completely with Tire Center-Here is the information you requested 1. Club Information: Sandusky, Ohio club 2. Tire order was messed up repeatedly, I was not given free installation after much rigamarole & I was compensated poorly. I contacted corporate which informed me that this store would be in touch, and they have YET to call me back. This cost me time and business. Highly dissatisfied. The situation: 1. I went to the Sandusky store on November 3rd to ask about ordering tires for my 2012 Denali. I was there only because I am doing a contracted job close by. I figured I could drop my truck off during a work day- and it would be done before the end of the day so I was going to check what tires cost at Sams seems it might work out. I specifically wanted white lettering tires and I had the truck with me so they could assess which tires match my reqeust. The tires that we picked out- were not in stock (plus I needed 6). The staff told me if I order the tires that day- and then pay for them on Nov. 10 in store, I would get the special pricing and free installation which really made me want to go with Sams over other places. I had already priced the tires at a local dealer in Upper Sandusky, where my business is located and the tires WITH installation at Sams were about 300 dollars cheaper than the small business I usually get tires from, and the Sams club worker told me the tires would be put on by the following weekend (I made an appointment for Nov 18). I had the worker help me order the tires that they suggested. I told them I wanted the biggest tires I could get. I also- confirmed this tire size, with my local tire dealer, when I cancelled my standing appointment with him. I wanted to be sure the Sams club tire person, had selected an appropriate size, because it was a bit larger than what I usually get, but that was actually, what I wanted if it was possible. 2.So the tires were ordered on Nov. 3rd, I drove an hour back to Sandusky and stood in line 2 or more hours on Nov 10 JUST so I could pay for these tires. I had gotten an email stating the tires arrived in the club on Nov 7. 3. On Nov 17 at 7:45 pm, I get a call from the Sandusky store stating that my tires were NOT in stock and therefore, I could not get them installed. Having already gotten an email confirming the tires were delivered/available, I called main Sam's hotline to find out what was going on- and the result ended up being that my tires were in the TOLEDO store. I told them that I REALLY needed to get new tires on this work vehicle so I was willing to drive to Toledo for the install if they could get me in. The representative on the phone said that Sams will honor the installation date, regardless of store, as it was not our mistake. I was skeptical, but it was now about 9-10 pm and I could not call the Toledo store to confirm, as they were closed 4. I go to Toledo. They were very professional and understanding there- HOWEVER, they could not do the install, as they were booked. Even worse- the tires that were ordered- were not correct. They did not have white lettering. So now I am going on week 3 of needing tires. They called around and the correct tires were then ordered, and sent to the Sandusky store within a day. . A new appointment for installation in Sandusky was made for Black Friday (of all days) but it was the only time they could squeeze me in. They also told me it was at least a 3 hour job, but because they were short on time, I may have to leave my truck there for 1 maybe 2 nights (but they had a policy about leaving it overnight more than 1 night, so it was questionable) but this was because they really did not have the time, but felt bad we were jerked around so much. So I bring my truck in on Black Friday as requested & drove 2 vehicles so we could leave the truck overnight. 5. We get there only to find out, that the tires I ordered are not ALLOWED to be installed on my truck. Now I stood there on NOv 3rd and had the clerk help me pick these out and assist with ordering them. Why do I get told NOW that I cannot have them installed. We argue a bit about this AND they tell me my white letter tires are going to cost me MORE, so not only am I NOT getting free installation (or ANY installation) but I have to pay more for the tires. She offers me a 40 dollar gift card (which still left me with about a hundred dollar bill to cover the upcharge for the white lettered tires. I know that my truck can NOT wait another day without tires or it will not be safe. I have drove that truck there SEVERAL times, wasting gas & time I really don't have. So I call around in Sandusky to see if another place will put the tires on- and I end up paying $250 at Tireman. He said the tire size WAS approved, for my truck and he was confused why Sams said it was not (and again- if it was NOT approved, hen WHY did the associate ORDER that for ME???)
