The produce section is disgusting. I wonder how much of their produce products they throw out every day?? They would rather it rot in the store before donating to food kitchen or the homeless shelters. I went there and picked up a bag of apples and it was dripping, and all of the strawberries were moldy. Staff not friendly. Shelves not stocked. No sense of what customers want or need as they pander to lowest expectations. Very hard to justify membership when prices are similar to grocery store prices. read more

Very disappointed in Sams club today. Called to make sure they had a case of Nathan's 1/4 hot dogs in stock before I drove 100 miles and was told yes. When I arrived I was told they don't carry Nathan's by the case anymore. I was also disappointed with the lack of hand sanitizer in the store to use with the corona going around. After all the years of being a member it might be coming to and end. read more

Sam's Club has a great selection of snack food and candy! Its frozen selections are good and bakery is getting stronger. Now that they have redone their coolers, Sam's can compete with the produce selection at their competitor. They have updated their cafe area to include more food selections, however if you want to order, you have to enter your own order into their computer while an employee watches to make sure you do it correctly .... why isn't that employee just taking the patron's order? If you are visiting Sam's Club on a Saturday, just be ready to wait in line to check out. They have only a handful of registers open and never have all of their "self check-outs" open. This is frustrating, so I avoid going on a Saturday. All in all, I continue to go back to Sam's Club and don't have any plans to not. I just think they have a few more areas to improve on. read more

Long time Sam's Club member and have purchased many tires and batteries. but lately the service at the automotive center has been horrible at the the Sioux Falls Sam's Club. I have called to schedule tire repair or battery installation and they always claim they are busy and need to schedule 2-3 days out but when you go to the store there are no cars in the bays and the staff is just standing around. Very surprised Sam's Club management does not supervise these guys. Costco much better read more

We shop at Sam's a lot. Maybe 2-3 times a month. I've always been pretty happy with the selections as well as the quality. Lately we had been using the grocery pickup and that was wonderful when they first started. But the last few times we haven't been very impressed with the service end of the deal. Groceries used to be carted out to our van, loaded up and a receipt was handed to us. The last few times they've pushed the cart out, asked my name then left it all sit and walked away. I'm not sure if that's the way it's supposed to go but it's definitely not the friendly and thorough service we had been getting. We now just go in and get our own stuff. Which is good for my wallet because we shop way less frequently and we don't buy as much because we don't have time to peruse every aisle as I would have using the app. Either way we do enjoy Sams and will continue to keep our membership current. Arrived at the store in Sioux Falls, SD. There was a young woman and man at the front door. She stated to me "I need to see your work badge." I had no idea what she meant plus we were all wearing masks and it's hard to understand. I asked, "Why do you need that?" The woman, got aggressive and stated, "You can't get in without your work badge." After a few minutes she finally explained to me that from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. the store was serving healthcare workers (which I am for 41 years) and EMS. I showed them my nursing license and that satisfied the young no customer service young woman to let me in. I walked in and another Sans club woman approached me, Do you have your badge?" I looked at her and said I showed it at the front door. Is this how Sams club treats healthcare workers? All I can say is wow, that store needs some education is customer service and professional communication. How about saying Good Morning and explain what you are doing? Good grief. read more

Filling gas was kind of a zoo. Motorists were going the wrong direction. It still isn't Costco-like.

I took a tire into Sam's Club to have it repaired this would be my third one. All three tires they have told me are too close to the sidewall. This one I knew where the hole was it is an inch and a half in on the tire. It took them two days to get back to me to tell me that it was too close to the sidewall. And to be clear they actually did not get back to me I had to call back in and ask about the tire and then they told me not to close to The sidewall. Took it to the tire shop two blocks away they said they did not know what they were talking about fixed it in 10 minutes this is happened on the previous two tires as well. This is an Ok Sams Club. I've always found it way too over crowded and prefer Costco now. The wait inline can be crazy on a Saturday. Like any superstore parking can be insane. read more

Used Sams for or wedding cake and cupcakes. Budget friendly, beautiful and our guests LOVED the taste. I would recommend to anyone!

Seriously, when you got lines snaked back so far into the store that you can't see the front......then that should be a clue to management that maybe ....just maybe....you should open a few more checkout stations. Tire center review... Just bought set of 4 new tires here... from stepping in the door to get my preordered tires through leaving was 35 minutes. Took costco 38minutes to just get around to retorquing lug nuts.. will stay with Sams excellent service and pricing in their tire center! read more

Newly remodeled store, produce seems fresher than some other local grocery stores. They also have a big selection of produce. Recently added sushi stand which is alright, a little expensive for the quality. I wish they would individually package chicken breast instead of having to use it all at once or freeze it all. All in all I enjoy this club. It can be busy on the weekends. read more

Purchased four lbs of sirloin steak from their meat department and came home to trim off a quarter pound of thick fat hidden on the bottom side. I could see this if they are New York strips but not a lien sirloin. Their Meat department is getting awful lazy or Shady. read more

This is for the optical department - Doctor did a good job. The receptionists that I called today to get a copy of my daughter's prescription were rude. I got hung up on once, put on hold too long twice, and 2 hours later, still have no prescription. The two girls answering the phone had no clue as to what customer service is and asked me how to solve my own problem. RUDE! read more
