Upon driving in we could see all the cows across the street from their amazing space. Easy parking and what a vibe the farm is. The owner is a fifth generation cattle farmer so my husband obviously bought about $50 of meat from the pack house lol. So many other things to enjoy, too. Lots of varieties of pumpkins. Sweet treats, iced coffee, sand box, a sand mountain, bubbles, swings, bouncy toys for the littles. This specific night had two roaring fires with s'mores to purchase. We can't wait to go back!

They were unusually dense - not the fluffy, airy interior I expect from a fresh donut. I'm not sure whether the dough needed more rise time or a different balance in the recipe, but something in the process made everything feel heavier than it should've. Inside is lively and very much a breakfast spot, not just a donut-and-run joint. You've got people ordering plates, grabbing coffee, chatting, and the whole place has that small-town morning energy. Busy, loud in a friendly way, and full of regulars who clearly love it. I'd come back for breakfast or coffee without hesitation -- the atmosphere and service make it an easy choice. Toni, our server, was very nice and understanding when we told her the fish from the fish and chips order just wasn't very good. According to the eater, it was "too fishy tasting," and the texture was different than typical deep fried fish. My son-in-law had the steak tips, and he cleaned his plate, so I'm guessing they were good. I had the Po' Boy sandwich, the third one I've had in the last few weeks!! Mine was good, but instead of a hoagie-like bun, it came on hamburger buns, so not quite as big as I thought it'd be. Still pretty good, though! The sweet tater fries were excellent!
