Sam's! Wow. Old fashioned restaurant food that is reasonably priced!! I had the pot roast. The beef was so tender!! Truly melts in your mouth! Gravy and mashed potatoes were perfect. All piping hot. My husband had shepherds pie. Also had the beef along with plenty of vegetables and mashed potatoes and gravy!!! 2 of us ate for less than $27. If you are in Titusville stay at the caboose motel and have dinner at Sam's. Oh yeah the steak salads are huge and just $11 read more

We're in town visiting cemetery and my aunt. Stopped in here for dinner. Didn't realize my mom worked here in 1960s - she's a regular Sam's celebrity. Had the Sam's specialty tips tonight - delicious. Asked my mom if place looked different and she said it was way nicer. Waitress said current owners have owned for 40 years. My mom worked here when Sam and Barb Dove owned it. She worked for the original Sam. Place is quaint and cute. Prices are great and everyone is nice. 4 of us ate for $42 plus tip. Great meal stop if you are in the area. Can also order from the Fox Pizza next door and there is an ice-cream shop with Perry's ice-cream that shares the parking lot. Stopped her on a whim. We we starving & Sam's did not disappoint. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was simple yet pleasant. Food was absolutely delicious The FRIES are where is at. Fresh cut .. and amazing. The portions were the right amount for a quick lunch. read more

Portions really small and food is bland. It is a shame as it used to be a nice place to go but the quality has gone down hill.

On the corner, mom-n-pop, country kitchen, nestled in old town Titusville. If you're an out-of-town traveler it's probably not going to be your first pick, but it's a regular for the locals. The service is very nice, friendly, courteous & attentive. The bathroom not so much. The portions are enormous, the food is good & stays with throughout the day. Although a rating of three might be more accurate, I gave them a four because they have Dr. Pepper. read more

Poor food. Avoid. Not so bad that you'll get sick, but it will make you think, as I did, "I'd rather eat my own homemade peanut butter and jelly sandwich than eat this dreck". I had the lasagne, which looked unappetizing and tasted like lousy cafeteria food. Worst lasagne I've had in decades. The garlic bread was poor (how do you mess up garlic bread? lousy bread and powdered garlic, perhaps?) The vegetable of the day was yellow beans; they were overcooked, tasteless, probably canned. My friend had the meatloaf, which he regretted. The salad bar looked unappetizing. Other reviews suggest this is one of the best restaurants in Titusville. If so, I feel sorry for Titusville. The only restaurant in the area that I've been to that I would recommend to others is Timber Lake Lodge. Unfortunately, TLL's hours are limited. read more

Decent food. It's pretty good if you compare it to the rest of Titusville. The workers are friendly. The only suggestions I have is that they get a few menu items that work for people who don't eat meat. Not all people who don't eat meat just eat salads. Maybe a veggie sandwich or something like that. I was saddened to see that the only sandwich option I had was a grilled cheese. I also saw a waitress who was cutting and prepping veggies and lemons with her bare hands. I'm sure she washed her hands but it would be reassuring to see some gloves. I would also advise to take all the religious things off of the menu. Or at least don't make it seem like we are opening a bible instead of a menu. Im not against religion and most of my family is religious but that isn't very welcoming for people who may not have a religion or are of a different religion! It could really steer some customers away, not I, because I wouldn't not give someone service because of that. But I know that there are plenty who would. It's the same as how businesses shouldn't put political things or anything that could spark dispute in front of/inside of their business because it just looks biased. Ate here the day before Thanksgiving. Was looking for pizza (Fox's) and maybe a salad bar. We each ordered the salad bar (which left a lot to be desired). The soups weren't labeled, but tasted better than they looked. Overall, it just wasn't an impressive experience. The pizza was OK and what you would expect from Fox's. We also paid full price for the salad bar, although we thought that if you ordered something else on the menu, you would get the discounted salad bar. Had we known we were paying full price for the subpar salad bar, we would have skipped that altogether. read more

I'm sorry, but I can't even comment on the food. We walked into the place and they told us we can sit wherever we wanted. I grabbed a few menus on the way to the table. The first page was some kind of prayer with the LORD in capital letters throughout. Then I opened the menu up and there were different crucifix images on each page and something about "blessing this meal" and I thought, "I can't eat here". Luckily, my brother's friend felt the same way, so we just left. I would have felt like crap all day if I ended up giving people like that my money. It is delightful to find a friendly atmosphere and quality country cooking in Titusville. People were warm and inviting. The food was homemade and it shows. I would go back. Worked in this town for two days and stopped for dinner on my way out. This is a small town restaurant but they sure make some awesome food! I tried the chicken tortilla soup and have to say that this was for sure the best one I ever had. Creamy and filled with just the right amount of chicken. Ham steak with home fries were great as well. I specially like the home fries made without the skin, yes I know, most of the vitamins are just under the skin, but hey, I'm not here to eat healthy, can do that at home. Service was pleasant and welcoming. The atmosphere was somewhat off putting. The place just seemed like it needed a deep cleaning and a make over. We sat in the upper level. A place that could have potential for private gatherings or larger groups, but not in it's current condition. The place was not only run down, but cold. It was as if the heating system is not adequate for the space. There was so much stuff piled up on the back wall that it was actually blocking a portion of the emergency exit......The kicker to the clutter was when a couple smaller children got up from a table and found toys to play with. Not little toys, but larger playskool type toys. We of course had the pleasure of watching them play on the floor right next to OUR table. Now the food. Average Sysco type stuff at best. The salad bar had very limited options. I mean really really limited. I was also curious as to weather the salad bar cart was properly refrigerated......didn't stop me from making more than one trip though. For my main dish, they had a special on a personal pizza with the salad bar. I thought that was rather unique for a place such as this so why not. After I ordered, I realized that the pizza was coming from the take out place next door. Apparently it is under the same management with an adjoining door in the back. I was expecting an artisan pizza, but they never said it would be some fancy dancy thing like that, so my bad. On the up side, they also didn't charge me artisan price. Honestly, it was like paying for an average take out pizza and getting all the salad I wanted for free. My wife and I didn't get dessert but we both left feeling like we had gotten a decent meal and our total bill was less than $20. We will most likely stop in a again sometime when it's convenient, but it will not make our top ten list of date night eateries. read more

Recently visited and will never return. I paid 27 dollars for my husband and I to eat food that tasted like trash. It was awful. I told the waitress it tastes bad and she didn't seem to mind.
