What'cha want?" It took my breath away, because it felt like such a breach of professional etiquette. But then I realized she'd just let all the regulars know they were not to mess with us in a way that didn't raise any eyebrows. (If she'd been overly friendly with me, it might've raised a stir, but, by sitting next to a 12 year old who's my child and helping him feel relaxed, no one could give her or any of us grief. It was almost breathtaking in its simplicity and effectiveness. No one gave us any grief after that.) We ordered a lot of delicious food and my child was on cloud nine. Ordered two orders of the amazing onion rings, got their insane cheeseburger's served between two grilled cheese sandwiches, and amazingly cooked tater tots. At the end, my son told our waitress she deserved a raise and she gave him a commemorative pen! That waitress gave an absolute clinic on how to make outsiders safe and welcome! She really does deserve a raise.

The chops came with three sides and it was tough to polish it all off. Country music played in the background and patrons filed in at a steady rate. Many appeared to be locals who have probably eaten there many times before. Prices were very reasonable. No liquor is served . Highly recommend and would gladly eat there again.
