My plan was to use this coffee table as a bench at the end of the bed, however it was very wobbly, not sturdy enough to be sat on, and had at least a 5" crack in the middle of one of the legs. I contacted Jim via email and sent pictures, to which he replied to promptly and provided a rough estimate.... so I made an appointment to bring it in. Jim is both a gentleman, who was a pleasure to deal with, and an expert craftsman, who has 28 years experience in both furniture repair and upholstery. He knows his stuff! His shop was absolutely immaculate and he was both kind and easy to talk to. Top notch customer service :) 4 days later my table was ready! Apparently, it required pretty much an entire deconstruct of the second shelf and all the legs, regluing and reinforcing all interior dowels and then reassembly. The cracked table leg? I couldn't even notice it was repaired! I'm thrilled to have my treasured sentimental table back with the ability to use it in more functional manner as a bench for the end of the bed! I scheduled for the following week at 9 am to have my all of my bedrooms, hallway and stairs done. Lee arrived promptly at 9 and proceeded to start working. He walked around to look at the condition of my carpets, explained why I had black stains on the carpet that was close to the baseboard, and what I could reasonable expect in terms of cleaning those areas. After Lee finished, I immediately scheduled for the rest of the carpet as well as my sectional and kitchen chairs to be cleaned a month later. My carpets look clean and my entire home smells so fresh. But I must say my carpets feel softer and softer as the days go by. It is an absolute pleasure to walk on them. Though the previous carpet cleaning company left my carpets clean, my home had an unpleasant smell and the carpet felt very hard and uncomfortable. Lee explained that he uses a green cleaning solution which includes a conditioner. Lee is prompt, thorough and his prices are reasonable.
