Not only did they deliver above-and-beyond service, these guys assisted me in the late evening hours, impromptu mind you -- after they had worked their regular schedule all day. I simply cannot say enough about how fast they worked, how carefully they worked to tear down, transport, reconstruct and rearrange my furniture, plus assisting me with unrequested help once they assessed and pitied my situation. Who really shows that kind of human compassion in business today? And I have to add here, I got a clue about how genuine the entire team is when the owner begged that I not over-tax his guys who had worked all day already. While most business owners are unapologetic about straining their employees while trying to impress us consumers with how much they care for us -- Jeff did not mind protecting his employees. That initially revealed to me his genuine kindness for both his workers as well as clients. When his guys arrived in my time of need, they reflected this same spirit of goodness. I hope I don't have to move many more times in my life, but if I do -- I would give these guys my business over and over. I am only too glad to refer and reward such an outstanding company. They showed up late and left multiple pieces of our furniture -- along with many other items -- scratched and broken. We've barely begun unpacking and already worry about what else we'll discover. I didn't bother raising the damage because the owner's dismissive attitude made it clear it would lead nowhere. Then came the billing nightmare. He originally quoted us $6,000-$6,800, and we assumed the most we could be charged was $6,800. Instead, the so-called "final" bill came in at $10,420.52 -- and just when I thought the nightmare was over, the owner blindsided me on delivery with another $4,300 charge. Despite repeated requests, he refused to provide receipts for the materials he billed for, instead dodging the question or insinuating that his invoice was the receipt. When we questioned the new bill, he became openly hostile -- yelling and becoming belligerent in my own home, in front of my children. The delivery to my storage unit was a display of recklessness I'll never forget. When they opened the truck, an expensive drill press -- carelessly placed on top of other items -- was jutting out dangerously. Rather than secure it, they moved the truck with the door open while the owner tried to hold it. It began to fall, and he started screaming at his crew to help. After unloading it, he continued berating them in public. While still at the storage unit, he told us there would need to be another delivery. When I simply asked when the truck would be there, the confrontation escalated instantly -- the owner began yelling at me and then got in his own employee's face, shouting at him as well. In the middle of this, he made the disgusting accusation that I had faked a trip to the ER during a very real and serious medical emergency, and even taunted me, saying he "knew" I would cause him problems from the start. This was not an honest mistake or an isolated bad day -- it was a pattern of recklessness, overcharging, evasiveness, and outright unprofessionalism from start to finish. If you value your possessions, your budget, and your peace of mind, avoid this company at all costs.

I found Mike on the Internet, called him on Friday, and they came on Tuesday morning. They arrived on time, worked continuously, and had everything done in less than two hours, which really surprised me. I thought it would take a lot longer. Plus, Mike and his helper were very friendly, and very aware of What they were doing so that nothing got damaged. I gladly paid their two hour minimum, and think it was a good value. I'd certainly hire them again for any size move. I unreservably recommend Mike and his helpers!

Moving is stressful enough, and worrying about being scammed was not something I needed to deal with. Also, the packing crew missed a lot of our items, which I then had to pack myself. Several of the boxes were packed improperly, and I had to redo the work.

I wanted to come back and update my review. The wife (Lauren) reached out to me to discuss my…read morereview. After going over the events of that day, she offered to come back and re-do the service. I agreed. Lauren returned and apologized again. She took her time, and the service was much better than the last visit. She appears to take pride in her work. I think they need to re-evaluate their pricing, or base it off of how dirty the house is. I believe they could really grow their business this way. I messaged them on Monday and they were quick to call me back. I was told that for the first visit they required a "deep clean". I asked about baseboards and they said it was an $20. I was fine with that. I was quoted $300 with tax if I pre-paid. I agreed and we booked the deep cleaning for Thursday. When Scotty arrived he told me his wife was sick and it would just be him. I offered to re-book if he needed to take care of her. He declined. He was here less than 2 hours for a "deep clean". The island or countertops were not touched and the baseboards didn't looked like they had been touched. The fridge wasn't wiped down and the counter around the stove wasn't cleaned. For $300 I'm extremely disappointed. I don't even think he changed out the water when he mopped the floors (my entire house is hardwood and tile in the bathroom). The shower door wasn't cleaned there was still soap scum on them. He offered to come back and clean it, but I had already cleaned everything he didn't. He did admit he "forgot to clean the countertops and island". He also offered 20% refund which I didn't decline or accept (but never received). I was extremely disappointed.
