This is a cool setup and completely different than any other car wash I've been too! It's part self/serve and part full service all wrapped in one! You drive your car up & pay a cashier, you follow the loop someone scrubs/pre washes before you enter the "wash" you drive out still staying in your car park in a lane where someone comes to dry the outside then you follow the loop and the next section the workers vacuum your car, you do get out at this point find a shady spot and sit while they do the final touches in the last lane.. all the staff were friendly, fantastic workmanship, a real team effort. I took my new Corvette C8 to get washed and when I drove off I realized my floor mats were missing. I drove back and spoke to the manager who swore my car came with no mats. I bought weather tech mats, I would know if my mats were missing! The owner came to speak with me who swore he watched the cameras and nothing was removed. I asked to see the video and WHAT DO YOU KNOW my mats were taken out and not placed back. It was an honest mistake by a young kid, I know things happen but the accountability of the owner was NONE. Did NOTHING to make it right or keep my business. Now I see why the quality of the service is lacking. Look at the wheels right after a "wash". I'm not sure what has happened to this place, but the last two times we have had our car washed here, they have done a terrible job. Today we paid for the ultimate wash and it was literally worse than when we pay for the works. There was no difference in one service versus the other. Your car goes through the "car wash" at record speed. Today our wash cost $58 plus tip and I now have to go home and finish cleaning and wiping out the inside of my car. The windows are streaky, the dash board was only half wiped down. The doors were wiped with so much solution that it dripped all over the inside door frame. There is still a bunch of dust everywhere. I feel so ripped off for the services today. The worst part is that we picked a time it was not busy so they did not have to rush. The previous time we paid for the works and they "cleaned" the inside with minimal attention to detail, so today we thought if we paid more, they would do a better job. Boy were we wrong. Looking for a new car wash because this one isn't working out any longer. read more

I have been coming to this car wash for years. They used to have a core of workers that had been here for a long time, who were highly efficient and that made the difference, making Buggy Bath the best in town. One of our vehicles was applied with a product on the dashboard that creates a reflection from the sun when driving. The dashboard is not porous so it will not absorb the product used. It also appears there is a shortage of workers based on the lines to get to the vacuuming and cleaning stations. Expect to be there half an hour or more longer than usual on your next visit. The shortage of workers may be due to the difficult times we are experiencing with immigration issues. Buggy Bath continues to be the best place to get your car service and I will continue to use their services. Be patient and tip the employees generously, they are doing their best (soon to get better). read more

I've driven past this place a million times, and today my car really needed a wash, so I treated it to "The Works" at Buggy Bath Car Wash. I'm glad I did! They washed and dried the outside, then vacuumed, dusted, and polished the inside. They even dressed the tires. Friendly staff and great service. Highly recommend. read more

I have driven past this place probably thousands of times over the years as it's been in the same spot about as long as the Peppermill. This is more a place to get your car detailed rather than just a regular car wash although you can do both here. The regular wash is more expensive than almost anywhere else but I find it's worth the money since they hand dry your car. Better than last time. Last time I was here, I got the mid grade interior and exterior wash. When I got home I noticed the rims were still dirty and the interior had several spots missed from the vacuuming. And I pre-tipped... Didn't make that mistake this time. The exterior wash was great! Clean rims, spot free rinse! That was a marked improvement. The interior was better. Thorough vacuum, good wipe down of my dusty interior, one of them did an excellent job of cleaning a spill in the door pocket. The mirrors and windows were cleaner, but had streaks remaining, and they tend to miss that inch of window at the top next to the door sill. I would recommend this business for a reasonably quick interior/exterior wash for a 40-50 dollar range. But, I am looking for someplace a little more detail oriented for under $100. The clerk though was highly customer service oriented! That's worth something. read more

Been going here bringing my vehicles for years with stellar service. Today, a little different scenario. Maybe to owners? Not sure. Git the next to top tier wash, 46.00. 1.5 hours later, car is called out that its done. The mats were not cleaned, it appears they never removed them from the vehicle because the area around the mats had nit been vacuumed. They took the vehicle back to redo the work. Manager was kinda of a grumpy as I let him know. His response was, "what do you want me ti do about it" told him I was letting him know for future issues with others. He bkew it off and walked away. Just FYI for those to check your cars before you leave. Hoping this is just a Fluke and not common practice. read more

Very organized and lots of staff to keep cars moving the place is usually busy and their is plenty of places to wait once the car gets done in the wash tunnel, the staff is there to wipe it down and clean the mats and vacuum the interior. Great place, we come often. Check it out. read more

I had a fantastic experience at Buggy Bath!!! I brought my car in for a full interior and exterior wash, and they exceeded my expectations. The team was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome right away. You can tell they really care about their work and their customers. My car hadn't had a deep clean in a while, but they made it look and feel like new again. The exterior was spotless and shiny, and the interior was immaculate -- carpets, seats, dashboard, everything looked amazing. Even the little details, like the cup holders and door panels, were cleaned perfectly. Service was quick but not rushed, and the pricing was very fair for the quality of work. Best car wash we've been to in Reno, after trying many around town in the 3 years we've been here. Very nice gentleman at the in gate who walked me through the process since it was my first visit. Owner was assisting staff on site; and staff hustled to move vehicles through as quickly as possible in very tight spaces! Definitely worth the $ for interior and exterior clean. I'll be back! Overall, good, polite, and efficient service. I needed a rental car cleaned due to Burning Man adventures. I arrived before they opened to be first in line. Took less than 45 minutes from start to finish to clean the exterior and interior. A few lingering bits of playa dust here and there in some tiny crevices that dripped out after started driving it, but overall, definitely good enough for turn in to the rental car company without issues. For 2024, I paid $249 plus a generous tip. I had a sedan; they do charge more for larger vehicles. See photo. They take credit cards, and there are seating areas to wait, as well as free wifi. Buggy Bath is one of those "Here, take my money." type of businesses. The gent who greeted me was friendly and informative, and sincerely grateful for the tip. (Bonus: He greeted me six months ago when I last came through, indicating it's a decent place to work.) The kind man who pre-washed my very dirty rig was as thorough and as attentive as I could hope for. He sprayed and brushed the areas where the dirt hides, and knows his equipment well enough to say I didn't need to fold in my mirrors. Every one of the staff smiled and offered a pleasant acknowledgment. The car was spotless inside. Even those ridiculous nooks and crannies where grime goes to die were clean. I normally request their $16.00 custom car wash that includes undercarriage wash, custom dry and tire treatment. They have additional services available at a higher price. This Company does an excellent job at a fair price. Been using them 5 years. I've had to return 2 times for a re-wash as the first time through didn't get my automobile clean. They've never hassled me on a re-wash. Try them; I think you'll like the service and attention to detail. read more

My last visit was sunday. My wifes tahoe was rushed and was not clean thoroughly. Paid for the ultimate wash and 20%tip. They were getting busy. The vehicle was in front by the exit on virgina st. We were not near the vehicle because we were sittin under good shade. Im sure they look around guessing whos vehicle it belongs to. I would. If i was working there. The truck that was behind ours was just a quick wash and was ready. I found it odd that as soon as they were done with that truck, they called ours within seconds. Probably so that truck can leave. We were a little late to an event so we left. Wife noticed the wheels werent polished and some areas still dusty and had crumbs. I dont think i can trust the service anymore and ive been going there with my newer vehicle the last couple times. My honest opinion.. the service is a hit or miss.
