Oh, we'll make sure that gets done today. Another several days. No credit. Called several times again. (They NEVER answer the phone or return calls.) Then it's "Oh! We'll make absolutely SURE THIS TIME your credit is issued." I told them if I didn't see a credit by Friday I was going to file fraud charges. We'll see if that does it. They don't offer the same services more reputable places do, they make you spend more money for the same procedure, then they don't refund your deposit as promised. He saw me on the 4th morning of my stay and managed to get me into the OR that very afternoon to do a very complicated extraction (the muscle was so contracted and inflamed I wasn't able to open my mouth). I have a massive hole in my jaw where he had to dig the tooth out, but he has been so reassuring in letting me know he will be there to take care of me through the healing process, that I have the utmost confidence that my healing will be complete. I wound up where I was because of a dentist and two doctors who failed to properly diagnose me in the preceding months, but Dr Peak knew exactly what to do and how to get it done. I simply can not say enough good about this man. Very grateful! I arrived about 5 minutes early, checked in, and waited in the lobby. Two other patients who arrived after me with 8:00 AM appointments were taken back before me. After sitting there for about 30 minutes with no explanation, I decided to leave at 8:15 AM. Around 10:00 AM, the office called asking if I needed to reschedule. I explained exactly what happened. They said they would research the situation and call me back, but I never heard from them again. This definitely felt like a "doc in the box" type of dental operation. Their phone is answered by a call center rather than the local office, which made communication frustrating. It was also confusing trying to find the location because the actual sign on the building says "Hometown Dental," not The Wisdom Teeth Guys. In the end, I went to another oral surgeon who quoted me $150 less, got me in the same day for a consultation, and had my tooth removed two days later.
