This school has been a complete disaster from the start. The staff barely communicates, the classrooms are chaotic, and there's little to no discipline. The kids here? Honestly, some of the worst-behaved I've ever seen. Disrespectful, loud, and constantly getting away with things because the teachers either don't care or have just given up. If you're looking for a safe, supportive learning environment, this is not the place. Avoid if you have any other options. (Also this school has rats.) read more

The staff are rude and disrespectful my both of my kids went here my daughter is in 6th grade and my sons in 8th grade and everyday they come to me and tell me how much of a bad day they've had. and I can't do anything about it as a mother,I can't change there school to Benjamin tasker because that's not the school they were districted to.what more does this school want from them?they are only kids.this is terrible. read more

I used to go through this hell-hole of a school throughout my 6th to 8th grade years. Now that I have graduated, I will say this lightly. THIS. SCHOOL. IS. **TERRIBLE.** I hated it every single year! If the annoying students who act as if they were the center of attention was bad enough, the disgusting bathrooms where people leave their goddamn piss and feces is even worse! ok so i currently go to this school the school is nice and all but the teachers & students are really disrespectful, rude, dirty, and full of their selves this is mainly the students to be honest yea they can teach you a lot their but they really need new teachers and thank god they are trying to get some for next school year but anyways, the teachers sometimes don't know what they are talking about and always think they are right so this one time I was in science class having fun and all of a sudden these boys start fighting and me and my group of friends start laughing because it was funny but that's not the point so the teacher calls an administrator to come and get them and the administrator starts yelling at the whole class saying "oh y'all must have been doing something for this to happen" I say who is y'all? she is like "all of you" then I say "but all of us have nothing to do with this" then she responds and says " don't talk back to me little girl" and I talk under my breath because huh why does the whole class have to be punished for something that we had nothing to do with and after i was talking under my breath she comes up to me and says you probably had something to do with it because your singling yourself out because if you didn't do anything then don't say anything so I'm like ok bro even though I'm LIKE 8 FEET AWAY FROM WHERE THEY WERE FIGHTING. The schools' bathrooms are never clean because the girls are constantly putting feminine products into the toilet and a whole roll of paper towels form the paper towel dispenser and that's why we never have any paper towels to dry are hands and even if there is paper towels there would never be any soap and I am constantly complaining about this to the teachers to talk to the janitor and the problem is never resolved and that's why i always take my hand soap, sanitizer, and tissues with me in my backpack and purse and i shouldn't have to do this. So when i first joined the school everything was good and cool i liked it but as weeks passed the kids started showing their true colors and started to be disrespectful and this one boy I've always had a problem with would always be rude and say things like "bro move over" "and I'm like sit somewhere else" he would say "bro stfu with yo watermelon head ass' so i say "who tf do you think you are?" mind you i don't know him at all he says "stfu" " I'm like bro really think someone is scared of him "but since I don't want to get any more problems I just scoot over. this one teacher i thought was cool until he comes back from his trip and he is sitting in his dark classroom and he looks stressed so he says out of nowhere that the kids were saying that thy were glad that he was gone and other stuff abut him so he is mad and disappointed so he says if anyone gets kicked out then they will stay out for the rest of the year and if he sees them again he will quit because he apparently has enough money to survive without his job but i didn't know that for sure but yeah. Then this same teacher is arguing with another teacher about touching his items and yelling screaming and other unnecessary stuff. then he starts slamming all of his doors while students are around and in their classrooms. I don't understand why every time i was in math class the teacher would kick me out because I didn't sit down straight away but she does have to realize that I want to associate with my friends sometimes and class wasn't even starting anyway, but this one time I was talking to my friends and she says sit down and like 30 seconds after she says sit down i went to go to my seat and all I did was stand in front of my chair and laugh while bending down to sit in the chair because it was already pulled out and she said sit down but as soon as i sit down she says oh no no no get up and calls my other two friends to go to the door and talk to us and we try to explain to her about the situation but she says i don't want to hear it even though she wanted us to explain like bro what. so, she sends us to another teacher's classroom because she can't handle us oh get over yourself lady. so, me and my friends have to explain to the teacher why we got kicked out and when i said i was about sit down because i was explaining why i was getting kicked out and he said Well did you tell her that and i say no because she didn't let us explain ourselves. But overall, i don't mind the education system. read more

Back in the early 70s, I was a young teenager attending this school when they were Junior Highs. It scared the crap out of me. There was a mean streak in the students I never saw since I came from a small town. This school looks pretty much the same dated building that I remembered. I hope that the students have changed since the 70s. read more
