It was winter so I didn't expect green grass but the course was in rough shape. Our shoes were covered with goat heads...tiny little sharp stickers. Luckily we golfed the second held of the course first because we wanted to use the restroom and the one in the clubhouse was out of order and there was one near hole number 5. When we got to hole number one we had to go across the road to get to it. I think it was whole number 3 had us actually hitting across the road. They did provide pull carts but there was some steep terrain to get to some of the tee boxes. Price was right and we could golf all day if we wanted. There weren't a lot of options in the area for golf in this particular day. If you feel like an adventure, give it a try! I'm giving it two stars because it was priced right and the guy in the clubhouse was friendly.

We did a helicopter pig hunt and let me tell you, watching videos doesn't compare to the real deal. The lodge is amazing the ranch is amazing and the food is out of this world. We took a couple tours of the main ranch and saw all the exotics and it's just amazing, better than any zoo that's for sure. But, I can speak to the openness, fairness and quality of operation that Greg runs. Greg has always been completely transparent with me regarding changes in land ownership and moves to new areas. He has introduced me wonderful landowners and budding young professionals. More importantly, myself, my son and my father all enjoyed wonderful hunts and I have many fond memories thanks to WSI. There a lots of outfitters you can choose from, and Id encourage you to do you homework, but at the end of the day WSI is one of the best I've dealt with.
