San Clemente Preschool is such a special school. My son attended the summer program and absolutely loved it. The teachers and staff are incredibly loving and caring, and they put so much thought into making each week fun for the kids, with activities like petting zoos, water days, and so much more. He had the most wonderful teachers in his class, and I loved getting pictures and videos throughout the school day and being able to see how much fun he was having. It really is a special preschool and stands out for the love, care, and dedication they have for the children. We had such a wonderful experience and are so grateful for our time there! read more

My 3 1/2 year old just loves it here- it was a smooth and easy transition. He loves all of the teachers, who keep us updated throughout the day of what and when he is playing/eating/napping. My daughter began attending San Clemente preschool right before she turned two years old. I had been home with her for a year-long stretch and was worried about enrolling her in a preschool vs a nanny because I wanted her in a loving environment. When I toured the preschool I was instantly at ease. The teachers all talk on their level and are so patient and kind. The warmth and care is really on a whole other level. The facilities were the cleanest all of the other schools I visited as well. We are now going on a year + and I still am so pleased with the love, care, and education my daughter is receiving. The staff and teachers are very communicative regarding monthly happenings, lesson plans, incidents, ect. The Brightwheel app is amazing as well - I love the photos and daily updates - it's so hard being away from your child but with the updates, I still feel like I'm sharing in her day. read more

We love this preschool! This year will be the 3rd year my twins have been going and they love it! All the teachers are sweet to them and keep us updated, we get pics and updates throughout the day through an app, which I love. This will be the last year my twins will attend, they will be off to kindergarten and I feel they are prepared. I recommend this preschool highly! I take both of my daughters to this preschool and they absolutely love it!!! My oldest daughter started going here when she was 2.5 and she was very introverted and shy. She didn't want to play with other kids at all. Now she is SO outgoing and says "Hi" to everyone. The teachers at this school are AMAZING! They truly care about each and every child, and I feel so comfortable leaving my girls in their hands. Cassie is also wonderful!!!!! I can't imagine anyone giving this school anything less than 5 stars! My daughter has attended San Clemente Pre-School for the last 2 and a half years, and they have become part of our family, we truly LOVE THIS PLACE!! Miss Cassie and everyone at the school has always made us feel so warm and welcome, when we walk in the door my daughter is always greeted with a smile and even a hug, the same when we leave for the day! Like the other posts, my daughter has grown and has learned so much in all areas and it's all thanks to the teachers and staff and their caring, understanding and loving nature. I recommend them to all my friends and family who have kids. I am so sad my daughter is graduating this year, but she will be back next summer for the summer program! I completely agree with Stephanie H that I wish I was able to give SC Preschool more than 5 stars! I definitely did my research when I was looking to send my 2 year old to day care, and had interviews with at least 10 other places. SC Preschool was the 1st one that my boyfriend and I looked at, and we found ourselves comparing each and every school that we went to after to them. Their staff is amazing, every single teacher knows your child which I found amazing. My little one constantly talks about Miss Katie, her teacher, and gets excited to see her every day. They have awesome hours too, which is good for moms like me that have to go into work early. A huge bonus is that the price is so reasonable! Least expensive place that we looked at, with the most quality care. Love them, my kid will never go any where else! read more

My daughters love going to school to learn and play and they adore the entire staff, as do both my husband and I. The curriculum is spot on, preparing Pre-K kids for Kindergarten and helping the younger ones grow through age-appropriate activities. Cutest preschool with the most loving teachers. They make your kiddos and you feel like family. We wouldn't go anywhere else! They greet us every morning with smiles and my son runs for his good morning hug. We're amazed at how much his speech has grown since he started. We Love the San Clemente Preschool! Our youngest is in her 2nd year now and she loves it too. She loves Ms. Lindie and we feel so comfortable leaving our 3 yr old there. It has a great family feel that is 100 times better than the other primary color corporate schools we looked at. The prices are really reasonable and the staff is awesome. My daugter started here right when she turned two and she has had nothing but great experiences. The facilities were always very clean and well maintained. There are very spacious classrooms and great outdoor areas for the kids. While it is a large preschool with a lot of kids I never felt like it was crowded or that Alex wasn't getting the attention she needed or deserved. At first I was a bit worried about security but from day one I was always greeted by name and ALL the teachers knew my daughter. That beats fancy keypads or buzzer doors any day of the week. I honestly have no clue what the one negative review means by Miss Cassie being mean or whatever. Totally false. The owner (Heidi) is her sister and both of them have their own children in the program. I was referred here by a coworker and I would gladly refer anyone here looking for a VERY reasonably priced, family owned school. read more

I almost didn't enroll our daughter here after that bad review about the school going downhill. Thank God I didn't listen to the other review because this has been the most amazing experience for my daughter. The staff at SC Preschool, and especially Cassie, are incredibly caring, compassionate and professional with everything that they do. This is the best learning environment that I could ask for! My husband and I moved here from South Florida last year. We had been attending the best daycare ever. It was an atmosphere that I wanted emulated. When arriving to San Clemente I checked out all of the local non-church affiliated preschools. I have to say there were some nice ones out there but I was not feeling any kind of warmth. They are only little once and I wanted her to feel happy and loved where ever she goes. Some of the other schools I visited felt very sterile. At one school the person in admin took me into an active classroom and the teacher nor her aids even addressed us. When I went to San Clemente Preschool to check them out from the minute I walked in I new this was the place. Granite, it is in an old building but it had character and warmth. Cassie who runs the school is so very sweet. I thought to myself this is an act but nope, it is not. She is always so nice and easy to deal with and the kids all LOVE her. The teachers are all nice as well. Their scholastic programs are perfect. My little one is learning so much and having fun. She has made so many little friends and so have we through meeting the other parents. Our first teacher was Miss Lindy, I can not say enough about her. My daughter adored her!!!! Now, this year she has Miss Katie, who she also adores. Their summer camp program is also fantastic as they incorporate so many different activities and themes that I feel the kids are still learning and they don't even know it and yet still having a blast. read more

My son and I love San Clemente Preschool. He had been at another preschool for two years prior and I was worried about the transition since he was so comfortable at the other school, but it was very smooth and my son loves it there. My daughter enrolled a little over a year ago and it is truly amazing how much she has grown from day one. She went from very shy to social butterfly with the help of the amazing teachers and staff. We have LOVED San Clemente Preschool since the moment we toured the school for our son back in 2012. He was just about to turn two years old and our main objective for our little king was to enroll him in a program where he felt loved, happy and safe. San Clemente Preschool has provided that and so much more. Two years later our son is in Pre-K and loving every moment of school and learning new things every day. I am confident our son will be ready for Kindergarten next year and I'm proud to say it is because of the teachers at SCP. We were so happy with SCP!!! The staff is amazing!!! The staff/teachers are very sweet & careing while still maintaining a professional teacher/student relationship. My daughter began going there shortly after her 2nd birthday and we saw her grow and grow more each year - both socially and academically. They really focus on making the kid's experience there a memorable one while strongly encouraging and focusing on learning the required curriculum. My child is now in Kindergarten and I feel that the structure and education she received at SCP really prepared her for this. I recommend this preschool to everyone I know!!! read more

My daughter has attended this preschool for three years (since she was two). She has grown up here with love and support from every single teacher. Everyone who works here has a positive energy and kind heart. They are patient, happy and vibrant. They actually play and engage with your kids, and of course they teach them in fun and creative ways. I also love the organization, professionalism and structure at SCP. They have a set schedule and the kids all seem so well behaved, yet relaxed and happy in this kind of environment. I am well informed of every part of my child's day - to her snacks, lessons for the day, nap time, etc. The hours are so helpful for us working parents that need childcare for the full day. I honestly can't say enough positive things about this school. We rave about it to everyone. They are our family. My husband and I adore San Clemente Preschool and the teachers there. We have three sets of friends who recommended them, and although from the outside it doesn't look that nice once you go inside it's a great setup. We started our son this past June when he turned two and we were both a little nervous. Every teacher there - including the ones in the older grades and both directors - were so sweet and reassuring. They made us feel very comfortable. Our son loves his teacher Miss Lindie. I'm happy with all aspects of the school from the learning projects they do, the playground and amount of outdoor play, the bathrooms, the daily written correspondence, and the monthly schedules. They combine the perfect amount of structure and "school" feel with the relaxed, loving approach of a personal childcare provider. read more

not a good school ! please advise my son went here , was forced to pee outside because they wouldn't take him to the bath room , then scolded . he was bite all the time , yelled at for not doing an art project right ; when I would pick him up all the kids would be outside playing and what were the teachers doing ? sitting in pairs or all grouped together chatting and not watching the children , one time I came to pick up my son and no one knew if he was there that day or where he was at the time ugh thank God he was on the playground where NO ONE was watching him because they were too busy chatting it up ! obviously he did not stay long read more

I have to take a moment to write a 5-Star review for the SCP, not just to give them 5 Stars, which they deserve 100 times over, but to let other parents know that if you're looking for a preschool for your little one, I can honestly say "don't look any further". I have twin boys that went to SCP and they loved, loved, loved it. The school is like a great big loving hug. What a beautiful learning environment, super clean, very secure and the teachers and leadership will become a part of your family. They truly care and love the kids and the things the kids will learn here will definitely build a solid foundation for your children as it did for my twin boys. I was very pleasantly surprised when they came home teaching me about the solar system and telling me that Mars is the red planet! My husband and I will forever be grateful to Miss Cassie and all the teachers that put their heart and soul into the San Clemente Preschool. I think lots of Preschools out there seem to be more day-care, but SCP had a very strong curriculum, wrapped in patience and love, which without a doubt gave my boys a great foundation to head into kindergarten.
