as a current 7th grader, it's been ok. Some of the teachers I've had over the past 2 years have really been stressing me out.

In this school they ask my pronouns I'm not in to that gay stuff. I wrote man and got points off, I'm not happy with that. I am leader of the football team like generations of my family has been. I have had many bad stories of the locker room. But this is the worst I walk in after hard practice sweaty and smelly. I was not ok with this as my girlfriend likes me smelling like an alpha male (I am one) I walk it to the showers witch are always full of naked men. I walk over to one of the showers in the corner to see two men making out. I throw up in my mouth and spit it out after closing the stall door. I go over to one of the sinks and wash out the room. I go over to the janitors closet and pull out bleach pouring it in my eyes and mouth. I walk back to one of the stalls and open the door. What stood behind that door roped the ungodly sin I had seen just before... A big pile of shit was scatter all around but mostly by the drain. It looked like someone tried shoving it down. I turned to leave. I walked to my locker excepting that I was not going to have a shower. I put on my pants leaving my shirt and began leaving when I saw one of the cheerleaders (they let boys and girls on the team) He was walking In to the locker and headed over to one of the many lockers. I stayed behind to watch him change. He pulled off his shirt I saw his pale frail body. I couldn't pull my eyes off his body. The way his hair laid just above his eyes. I felt myself drawn to him. I walked over to him. I was painful obviously towering over him. He looked at me before looking down at my chest. I grabbed his chin pulling his head up to we were face to face. You look so beautiful. I lend in for a kiss which he reciprocated we locked lips and only pulled away when we were out of breath. I pushed him against the locker and we were hard making out. We stopped after 10 minutes when the bell rang Signaling that school had ended. I invited him to lunch at the nearby habitat and we went. I ditched my girlfriend and broke up with her over text that night. Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 months and love each other a lot.

My son was diagnosed with ADHD and with medication he went from needing a tutor to being a tutor at CSUSM. It's a disservice to students to not tell parents to get testing and talk to a school psychologist about problems like bullying in school which also occurred at Grauer and affected his performance. Lack of motivation is associated with ADHD and also the severe bullying that was occurring off campus when he was biking to school. A psychologist would have been able to deal with these issues.

Head Master and Founder of school Dr Stuart Grauer, is recognized nationally as sincere and thoughtful leader of the small school movement. Get his book her https://www.amazon.com/Fearless-Teaching-Collected-Stuart-Grauer/dp/0986016004 Dr. Grauer is a strong proponent of Socratic learning, and that philosophy is embraced by some, but not all faculty. Dr Grauer is a believer in experiential learning, and twice a year sends students on excellent national and international expeditions of learning and service! He also strongly believes in giving his students a stage to both preform on musically (amazing program, led by amazing instructors) , and one to pontificate on via a once a year special event for parents and grandparents put on by the Girl Rising club called Grauer Speaks. In past years it has been a night of student, and sometimes faculty monologues exploring a wide variety of social problems; from from LBGTQ issues, to women's rights, and the "Rape Culture in America" to name a few that I witnessed. It is often an intense night of student involvement and activism. My daughter excelled while at Grauer, and is now attending a prestigious women's College in western Massachusetts and thriving in the liberal arts program. Bottom line, Grauer School has an excellent college preparatory program , led by a thoughtful and principled leader. Grauer School embraces the gamut of todays enlightened curriculum. Highly recommend!

Well, this was my high school (class of '09). I guess since i havnt been to any other high school…read more(and since former teachers/administrators might read this) i cant complain about it too much. Honestly though, it was an alright school. I had some GREAT teachers, a lot of ok ones, and a few bad ones. Football games were pretty fun since we always seemed to have a pretty decent team. I came in the second year after it was built. The first few years were pretty rocky for the school in general i think. There were a few scandals in my first years there, one concerning the CSTs that resulted in cancelling the API scores, one about out of zone football recruitment or something like that, and a couple others. I dont know if that kind of stuff happens at other schools or not, but it probably does. as far as i know, it was your typical high school, at least throughout MY expirience, a lot of stupid stuff mixed in with cool stuff. The administration was pretty good i guess, no complaints there. As stated before, while there are some really great teachers, especially in the AP programs (Mr. Ramirez, Mrs. McNalley, Mr. Montooth to name a few) there are also some bad ones (i wont name them, that could get me in trouble or something.) To sum it up, Mission Hills is a pretty run-of-the-mill high school. Its got everything any high school has, nothing more, nothing less. I mean, it did its job preparing me for college and i had some fun along the way, but it was school, and obviously sometimes pretty boring.

All of the teachers are engaging and my son loves them! He runs out onto the playground in the morning to see his teachers. My son is very active and quite the handful but they never treat it like a problem instead they help him use his energy in positive ways. The Director, Miss Jessica, has really gone above and beyond accommodating our requests. If you live in San Elijo or surrounding areas Pacific is the best choice. At night my 2 year old tells me "I want to go to school." I say ok let's go to sleep and you can go to school in the morning and he wants to go to school so badly he lies right down!
