I would not go back, there are too many other exceptional options.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is comfortable, almost homey, and certainly welcoming (especially Foxy, the resident Dalmatian). Be sure to ask for room 212, which has 2 balconies and spectacular views of Lago D'Orta and the island. We had dinner there one night, which was very pleasant and reasonably priced. All in all a very nice find!

The breakfast was minimal, but I did eat breakfast at the hotel everyday. Dinner at the restaurant was very good. It is an easy walk to the town center. Also, it's located very close to a Carrefour store in case you need any last minute items. The hotel has an interesting decor. As another reviewer stated, it's hard to describe it precisely. There's a lot of old clocks and typewriters to look at, for example. I would definitely stay here again.
