I called them for a seperate issue about my bill in May and I was told I had to get the meter tested. On that call I asked where they were sending the notices and they told me to the vacant shop. I receive all of my bills at home, I am alost never at that shop and I do not check the mail because nothing gets sent there. My backflow guy wasn't getting back to me (he just had surgery) so I was having trouble scheduling the test. At this point I was only aware of the test for about 2-3 weeks. They didn't care when I asked for more time. They then charged me (on top of the $60 for sending a notice to the wrong address) $100 to hand deliver a letter to a vacant building. I was upset and asked them to turn my water off, out of spite (for sure) they went out to my property late Friday after I asked them to wait until my backflow guy got back to me Monday morning. They are rude, the departments don't checlk with one another and they are spiteful. If you live in their distct, good luck They suck!

However, the worker that checked me in was slightly rude because she didn't understand what she was doing. She actually didn't know if I needed to change a couple things on my roll. Then she wasn't sure if a hard copy of the voter's registration is being mailed out. It's not. Everything is kept online these days. She actually acted as if it was my fault. I brought a friend who had an expired drivers license and no mail from her current address. However, she still voted. The building is clean. No air conditioning inside. The center has private front lot parking.

First to review (FTR), woohoo!…read more I attended a surprise birthday party at this venue, and it was an absolute blast! The community center was spacious, open, and bright. With about 100 guests, there was still plenty of room for everyone to sit comfortably. The celebrant had a special throne on the main stage, and the interior was beautifully decorated with bright lights and high ceilings. Thankfully, the AC worked well since it warmed up as the party got going. There was also an outdoor patio where they served tacos--always a win! The large kitchen made it easy for them to prep and serve food to all the guests. They even had a security guard keeping an eye on things, which was a nice touch. The Spring Valley Community Center also offers a variety of leisure services and lifelong learning opportunities for visitors of all ages. Some of the facility features include: lifelong learning and special interest programs, event and private rentals, children's day camps, adult and senior programs, youth programs, and fitness classes. If you're looking for a solid event venue with plenty of parking (depending on the day), ample restroom facilities, and a spacious, well-maintained setting for any special occasion, I highly recommend this spot!

I have never been here, and never been to this part of Spring Valley. It is an interesting drive coming out to the area. Once you pass the shopping center, you'll sort of see the bridge, and the first parking area off the first street you can turn right on. If you drive down a little further, there's another parking lot. The bridge is really cool! Although, there's a lot of colorful grafitti on the steel beams, on the pathway, and on the cement entry. Lots of "colorful" language too, so parents be aware. Once you walk over the bridge there's a small pathway to the right which will take you on the main trail. There's an information board at the parking lot. You will need to keep your dog on its leash, though we did see a dog running around with its owner near a tree. There are no bathrooms or water fountains so you need to prep before coming. We didn't walk the trail because I had to use the restroom and we didn't have water. But the area looks pretty cool to walk through. Some others were walking over the bridge as we were leaving. I think the best time would be early morning. We were there around 2 pm and the sun was strong, so a hat and sunscreen is advised. I'm definitely coming back. It's a part of San Diego's history that's easy to get to. You do need to be careful when leaving because the cars are coming pretty quick from both sides. Cako Approves!
