Well, the whole cake was gone in 2 days (we have a small office of 12 people). We normally try to convince people to take cake home to get rid of it but didn't have that problem this time! A few years back I had an issue with burnt pignoli cookies that I ordered for a party, I picked them up but didn't see them until the box was opened. I called to complain and they said they weren't burnt. I brought them in the next day to show them and the chuckled and said the baker must have fallen asleep. I said they should have thrown them out, the employee told me those are too expensive to throw out! I thought (and should have said) I know, I had to pay for it!!! I was offered more of the burnt cookies! No reimbursement! Really hit and miss

My husband and I are POC and we felt very slighted. I'm not sure I want to visit a place that is so racially biased. This experience put a sour note on our visit and I'll be more inclined to shop elsewhere.
