They mostly have antiques and self therapy stuff. I was drawn to the candles... they were not cheap I can assure you that... $24.99 for the saguaro cactus scent... it did smell really good though. I bought it for my dear friend's b-day. I didn't get anything for myself and that's okay. Staff was nice and helpful. Prices like I said was a bit pricey. Store had an old fashion look and feel. I will definitely remember them LOL. Give them a try when you're around town. Happy Remembering!

Their candles are amazing, and it felt great supporting such kind people and a small business. The owners were incredibly friendly, and we loved connecting over our military ties. It's so nice knowing there are still genuinely good people in the world! I'm absolutely obsessed with the Bluebonnet candle -- it perfectly captures that Texas spring feeling and made the perfect souvenir from our trip. We'll definitely be ordering online when we need to restock. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Still, with lots of customers (at least while I was there) you'd think they would be a little more....friendly. In the back room are discounted candles that don't appear to be old scents, but for $3 instead of the $5.95 for the ones in the front room-yes! please! Quite a few scents and the most darling packaging-for $23.95 you can get a big candle in a glass jar that burns for over 40hours!

But here I found a cute mushroom mug. Prices are a little high. But I'm sure the work that goes into them is labor intensive. I was looking for a black one but ended up finding one out completely different that I love. When I went to check out at the register Alfred asked me if I found everything I was looking for. I mentioned I was looking for a black beanie & without me even asking, he darted from behind the register to go search for one for me. He brought me the only black beanie in the store but it didn't have a fuzzy ball on top, it had an eye . Not what I had in mind but I REALLY appreciated him voluntarily looking around for me. So kind! It is just rare that people go out of their way to help customers these days. He even offered to cut the tags off my new beanie for me. Thanks Alfred for being awesome! It is a not to be missed stop when you visit Fredricksburg. The Bagallini bags carried in the boutique are designed by two flight attendants who saw the need for attractive travel gear. I have purchased numerous wonderful scented Italian soaps, candles, pottery , live lavender plants, dried lavender and kitchen tools from Villa Texas. Plus Darlene's book, Italy Fever, because I, too, have had the fever since visiting Italy. Villa Texas participates in the annual Lavender Trail each year with fresh lavender plants picked from their field and lovely lavender products. Visitors are invited to hand select their own lavender and picnic in the fields. Disclaimer: Darlene is my friend and former work colleague.

Thankfully, I had on hand the beige beaded belt I bought at Goodie Two Shoes in Austin for $18. It was the same belt this store was selling for $24. The clearance rack was 50% off items mostly in the $200 price range. No gracias. Girl 2: ...and then we saw that terrible movie. Girl 1: Oh I know, I was like, this is so dumb. We walked out. She had so much success that she started to small batch it at farmers markets. Now she has a store in Midland and opened the Fredericksburg location in 2020. I don't know how I hadn't seen her shop until now! I zeroed in on the hand cream because as a nurse I have tried everything for dry hands (working hands, Burt's bees salve, CeraVe) but still suffer. Instead of sitting on top of the skin the tallow actually absorbs into the skin and protects from over washing. There are so many different products and scents for any skin issue. They also have unscented for sensitive skin. The staff are super helpful and can guide you in the right direction.

All the products have tallow and essential oils. I appreciated the explanations and uses for each product, plus the real life before and after photos. I have trouble with adult acne and have yet to find a lotion that doesn't make me break out. I also have extraordinarily dry and sensitive skin, and can even get eczema from the wrong product. So I thought WTH I'll try this blemish balm. Prices seemed reasonable, especially if they work. Been using a week and haven't broken out yet! I'll update if I get negative results in the future. I've always really liked tea tree oil so I'm happy so far. I don't subscribe to the "essential oil lifestyle" but I do appreciate the smells and uses for some. I also like using more natural products, AS long as they work as well as or better than non-natural. (sorry!) The biggest stand out to me was the chap stick. I've had such dry lips my whole life I've given up even buying chap stick and just lived. Again, thought WTH I'll try this chap stick. Listen. If I use this a few times a day it keeps them from cracking and peeling. This is sorcery. Oh, WTH is tallow? Magic, apparently.
