Their candles are amazing, and it felt great supporting such kind people and a small business. The owners were incredibly friendly, and we loved connecting over our military ties. It's so nice knowing there are still genuinely good people in the world! I'm absolutely obsessed with the Bluebonnet candle -- it perfectly captures that Texas spring feeling and made the perfect souvenir from our trip. Little house with on site candle making tho we went on a Sat. so no see and tell. We weren't greeted upon entering but with all the little rooms with candles and folk art I quickly forgot about it. Still, with lots of customers (at least while I was there) you'd think they would be a little more....friendly. In the back room are discounted candles that don't appear to be old scents, but for $3 instead of the $5.95 for the ones in the front room-yes! please! Quite a few scents and the most darling packaging-for $23.95 you can get a big candle in a glass jar that burns for over 40hours! read more

I was visiting my neighbor friend one day and saw a little candle jar named "Havana". Being a candle lover and the name got me curious, I opened it up and smelled it...I fell in-love with the scent. I told my friend how much I liked the scent. After I left her house, I forgot about the candle. Fast forward a couple of months, she got me this candle for my birthday. I was so sad when I burned the whole candle up - so I began my search for this candle. I found Comfort Candle's website and started browsing through all their scents. I ordered, of course, another Havana candle and Havana scented car fresheners...and wanted like 50 of their other scents!! (OK, exaggerating about 50... but close! ) I didn't want to buy full sized candles in case I didn't like the scents, so I ordered the Candle Gift Set and picked 5 scents I wanted to try. A little over 1 week later (really fast considering all the craziness going on right now), I received my candles. I was so excited!! I opened up the box and start going through my little treasures... and there's an extra 12.5 oz JAR. I didn't remember ordering this, so I start looking at my packing slip. All the things I ordered were on the packing slip and highlighted - you can tell whoever was packing my order was highlighting each line item to ensure nothing was missed... but then written on the bottom of the packing slip, was "candle" and it was also highlighted. They sent me a free candle! Long story, but bottom line is - all the candles I got, smell amazing! Prices are very reasonable! I received my order fast! And they sent me a free candle! I will DEFINITELY be a repeat customer and be gifting their candles and telling everyone about them! We were in a boutique outside of Austin when we discovered Comfort Candles. We bought two scents, Cashmere and Sandalwood. For me the scents were done beautifully, never overpowering but subtle when lit. Also a huge factor for me is when you blow out the candle and the extinguished smoke does not overwhelm the room due to the impurities/chemicals of the candle. Comfort Candle never gave me that problem. Ever since we discovered them, we have bought directly from the company via their website. We ordered over 200 candles to give out as wedding favors in Oct 2013 and we're still ordering the 20oz glass jars for the house. I have one lit on a daily basis and I won't buy anything else. *Not to mention the customer service is out of this world. I received a 10 ounce vanilla candle as a gift after scheduling an informative interview with the owner! He's a true southern gentleman and the fragrance is as good as it gets! I live in a fairly large home and I normally burn this candle in either the kitchen or the living room and everything smells just like I left some vanilla extract in the oven! It's a wonderful scent with both good hot and cold scent throw! I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to buy some wonderful soy candles! I tried a fantastic new scent that is coming out soon and it is AMAZING!! Smells just like a campfire after cooking something great. My son said it smells so good almost like making smores!
