First time here. Had the ensalata San Telmo with artichoke hearts. My entree was a 1/2 lonche de lomo, steak fries and a beef soup. The salad was a great choice and a perfect start to my meal. The sandwich was well seasoned and flavorful. The sandwich and soup were well seasoned and beefy. The service was great!

Finally got to try this steak house after living in Laredo for some time. The restaurant decor was intimate and nice. Service was great throughout our meal too. I enjoyed the bread and empanadas a lot. My steak was a little tougher than I expected it to be. I had to add some some salsa to improve the taste of it. I would have liked to see more options for a side but maybe that's how all Argentinian steakhouses are.

    Really pretty cool liking inside

Pretty upscale inside. Real ceramic plates, metal utensils, cloth napkins . Exotic music playing in the background at an appropriate volume. Inside is a lot of dark wood, etched glass, and elegant chairs and tables. Quite a nice ambience. Ordered a ribeye with salad and asparagus. Seemed a bit pricey for my expense report, hope I don't go over my daily allowance as I had a $20 lunch. Lol Salad was very good, bread was served with butter, an oil sauce with herbs in it and chicken pâté. Very good. Dining room had the aroma of a wood fired grill, smelled very good. Think it's my steak cooking! Some of the other reviews complained of steaks dry, flavorless , mine was neither. Very tender moist and full of flavor. Asparagus was also not tough or stringy, cooked just right. Meal cost with a glass of wine was: $ 52. I asked for water and received bottled water that they charged $5 for (ouch). Not an every night place but may be a date night or special occasion place. I would recommend

The menu online looks spectacular and had a lot of interesting dishes. I was super excited. I saw that they were open late and I was also very happy about this because my meal was after work. I arrived at 9:30 walked in the side entrance and saw a post hunched over and squatted down, looking at her iPhone. I also saw another employee leaning on the host stand talking to her. He didn't greet me neither did she until I walked to the front of the house stand. She got up from her crouch position and said can I help you? I was surprised to see what she was wearing, an oversized hoodie with some type of logo on it, which was not an appropriate thing to wear, and it did not match the other employee that were more crisp. I said dining for one and grabbed a menu and slid it across the host stand out of pure laziness. She slumped her way over with the menu hanging on her left side and sat me at a table. Wow what a lousy first impression for a restaurant that I was so excited to visit. A server came over gave me a menu and brought me water. Disappointed to see that the menu was completely different from the menu that I saw online. No unique dishes and the variety was not great. However, I was there and felt I'd give it a chance. A server that was at the bar entering tickets or something, kept looking over at my table, but no one ever acknowledged me after I was seated. I waited for about 10 minutes until someone realized I need assistance. The server finally came over. He was polite to check my order served my meal left me to be on my own to check on me one time, but it certainly wasn't a two minute check when he should to see if my meal was to my satisfaction. My plates were not cleared and I had to ask for the check.. the food was OK. I had the salmon. Nothing spectacular. risotto was uneventful. Got my check and left. No goodbye, no thank you for coming in no stand out service. As a restaurant professional in California, I can't figure out if it's just a Texas thing or they rate everything high or this restaurant truly is deserving of its accolades..

There are bars on every window and a bit rundown down but the parking lot had a ton of cars. That speaks volumes! We were greeted and told we could sit anywhere, other than reserved spots since there was a band starting at 8pm. The band was a huge plus. They brought chips and salsa and we ordered some margaritas. Just a note, they don't do Cadillac. The were good, not great. Same with the Pina Colada. My husband ordered the crispy tacos and I the tres enchiladas with a salad. The salad was all iceberg lettuce with an interesting dressing with a tangy flair. The enchiladas were good but the beans dried out. My husband wasn't crazy about the tacos. We stayed for the band which consisted of one guy. Regardless, he was fun and did all genres of music. Overall, it was a great first night experience. Thanks Charlie! We enjoyed metting you too!
