Uber eats did it again it struck gold. What a great resto first time hearing about it and we really enjoyed it. Food came pretty quickly a little cold but it's Saturday night I get it. Butter chicken was really good, a little kick to it but not to spicy. The chicken was shredded which was cool I've only had cubes before. Will for sure be ordering with them again.

Ordered in the Beef thali for dinner through Uber Eats. It included 1 meat option, 1 vegetarian, rice, salad and nan. I chose the Beef Nihari & Chanay for approx $12. It arrived promptly, however was packaged poorly. The Nihari is meant to be eaten with Nan, however it had slid over to the rice and there was barely any left in its compartment for me to eat. The taste was average. It was good enough to curb the cravings for the night and alright for the cost of the meal. However I would not be ordering from here again, when there are many great establishments serving better quality food for the same price.

Rice, garlic nan, ginger chicken, and butter chicken.

5 minute walk from Le Crystal Hôtel, bursting with flavor, and put a big smile on my face. If you desire Indian food, you absolutely cannot go wrong. We had the butter chicken with dark meat. Never had it like that before, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn't think the chicken could be that tender and juicy. The ginger chicken was made with chicken breast, wonderful ginger accentuated flavor with a slight heat to the dish. Perfectly cooked chicken. These dishes are made for sharing and if your not starving, you could share 1 dish between 2 people. You have to separately order rice or nan. We got 1 order of the rice and 2 orders of the garlic nan. I wish I didn't order rice and just doubled up on the garlic nan. If you like garlic, you will love the garlic nan. They don't hold back with the minced garlic. It is a real hole in the wall, which is where I usually find the best food. Not really that busy, but is was a Sunday night. We were there maybe an hour at the most and noticed the Uber Eats drivers were coming in every couple of minutes for pickup. So have it delivered or eat in-house, you will not be disappointed.

Yummy mixed grill -- petite size. I could finish it.

This unassuming restaurant on Crescent street is a true gem. I have walked by the restaurant all the time and one late night (9:00 pm), it's menu on the outside beckoned me. I'm happy that I finally walked into this restaurant. The staff works hard to provide good customer service to everyone. I ordered the petit mixed grill combo and a glass of mango lassie. The grilled chicken, beef and fish were all good. The nun was soft and generous in size. Everything was good.

The food was good, but the wait time was too long- 1 hour. There were some other customers when we arrived, but there was no other customers at all at the end. After thinking about the reasons we were not served, I figured out that their priority was "food delivery" service. I strongly recommend that you check the anticipated time to be served before you order.

This is the first time we've been to Sana. The neighborhood is pretty dispirited. However, the inside is pretty clean and spacious. We had samosa for starter. Mixed grill and lamb karahi as main courses. The dessert was home made Kulfi, traditional Indian ice cream. I like all the dishes. The samosa came with a sauce which is quite flavorful. The grilled dish offered 3 different meats. The karahi is medium spicy to my taste but probably the most spicy dish there. The Indian spices married with flavor of lamb, the curry is so rich and intense flavored. It goes very well with rice and naan. The frozen dairy dessert Kulfi was a surprise. We both enjoyed it. The prices is inexpensive. Main course varies from 9 to 11$. I will come back for sure.

So delighted that Sana opened a second branch - in downtown Montreal itself. Yes it is a little off the beaten-path but hey, still way better than making the trip up to Jarry. The husband and I are big fans of the restaurant. From the many Indian Pakistani restaurants in Montreal, this has to be one of our favourites due to the food being very authentic and of good quality. Despite being a basement restaurant, it is neat and cosy with a nicer décor and ambiance than the original on Jarry. Though it was a busy Friday night when we went, the staff were all very polite and attentive. They seemed to be getting an endless amount of UberEats & JustEat orders - great for those cold winter nights. We have tried most items from the menu but our favourites will always be the Channa Samosa (delicious!) for starters and Nihari, Haleem or Lamb Karahi. Nothing better than a good old spicy curry to warm you up in freezing temperatures and to end it all with a hot cup of chai (Indian tea with spices). Prices are very reasonable and they even offer Student Discount. Highly recommend :)

It doesn't look like much from the outside, so what a surprise! Their lamb thali was very well made, simple and delicious. You get to choose from one of their vegetables dishes: mixes veggies, spinach, chickpeas, etc.

    Chicken Achar ... Fantastic!!

There is one arrogant girl in the restaurant who don't know how to speak to customers. Beware of this restaurant

The restaurant itself is gorgeous with basic colors of white, red and black, with two stunning chandeliers. There are 3 big TVs with Bangladeshi programs, which are negative distractions to the beautiful decor. The washrooms are also very modern looking. We were welcomed enthusiastically by Raiyan. He was friendly, helpful, polite and efficient host and waiter. He explained the menu in details. Starters: Dal puri (flatbread stuffed wth cooked lentils), shahi jhal muri (puffed rice, chickpeas, tomatoes, coriander, onions, mustard oil and spices) and fuchka (pani puri). Main dishes: chicken roast with rice and eggs, ilish fish with onions curry and rice, beef boti kebab, meznabi beef curry, parathas, grilled tilapia and 4 types of bhortas (tomatoes, eggplants and two kinds of dry fish). Desert: everything milk based: kalajam, chomchom, sweet yogurt, malai curry and malai cha (boiled milk black tea). Each dish were presented beautifully. Each dishes were delicious to perfection. The winners of this menu are dal puri and grilled tilapia. This restaurant is opened for 3 months, and it has great potential to make it big. I highly recommended this place for its beauty, service, delicious food.

There was no fish except for baked tilapia. No fuchka. The mutton kachi Biryani smelled great, but did not have much of a flavor. The beef kabab was good, but the beef curry was extremely oily. The luchi and dal Puri weren't good either. The luchi was like heavy fried dough and the daal Puri barely had any filling. The server, a lady was very nice. Not sure it was worth going out of our way to try.

Previously called Dhera, this place was bought out and renamed "Chez Maharani". I love the location conveniently situated on the Hipster St. Denis strip, as there aren't a lot of good Indian food stops on this area. Menu: you can dine in or have food to go. There are combos starting at 10$. We got to try an open buffet style - with a few of their selections, note house chef was away so review may not be accurate : Starters: mango lassi (4/5) really enjoyed this drink - wasn't too heavy on the yogurt either; fish pakoras (3/5) - very tender, lightly spiced batter served with a side of spice mayo; Main course :biryani (3/5) I liked how it wasn't too heavy on the ghee; potato puri (5/5)- delish! ; daal (4/5)- had a sweet spicy kick to it ; mixed vegetable "Sabji" (3/5)-cauliflower, cabbage, onions, potato (I usually don't like cauliflower but I actually cleaned my plate off); beef curry (5/5)- it was sauteed with peppers, very tender - not too spicy - meat melted off the bone; chicken curry (4/5) similar the the beef curry with peppers but I enjoyed the beef more. Dessert: gulab jamun honey balls (6/5) I overdosed on the sweetness, had to limit myself to one to be healthy ; rice tapioca (4/5) worked really nicely with the gulab jamun to balance out the sweetness. Service: great, minus the fact students work here - that always appear confused when serving food. We got a tour of the venue, highlight being the backyard 2 floored terasse - gorgeous for the summer if they upgrade their bar. The owner mentioned there is a lot of work to be done to the venue, looking forward to what's to come!
