I would have rated based on the services, but I never got that far... I was given a very generous gift of a gift certificate to another (now closed) local spa. I received an unsolicited email from Sanctuary early in January, saying goodbye to the other spa and saying they would honor gift certificates from that spa. I called IMMEDIATELY to make sure I would be able to use my certificate, as they said they would honor it. Except they don't. First, they couldn't find my number in the certificate list, the list was hard to read, it was a hassle, etc. They didn't call me back. So I went there, they made copies of the certificate, and said they would get back to me, never did. I called the company that issued the original certificate, and they said Sanctuary should absolutely accept the certificate. But when I went back, they said no, they were no longer accepting any gift certificates, there's no room for regular clients (didn't they tell me they couldn't look me up?), and I should try to understand their position. How about this... If you don't want to accept the gift certificates, don't send me an unsolicited email saying you will. And then don't make me work hard for nearly a month to tell me you won't accept it. This has to be one of most horrible new business development ideas of all time. Very bad experience, I buy groupon for hydrating facial and took and appointment the lady asked me what r u looking for...and my answer was nice relaxing facial also exfoliation and extraction....she said that's good...but u purchased the coupon and how much did u pay. I said $75she said the facial is for $100 I can't do exfoliation, extraction because if you want to add this service to have to pay the difference. She did my facial the atmosphere was good,nice music but service was worst and that facial was done in 50 mins without the fack mask. I paid the difference nevermind,but next week I called the salon and asked if I buy the coupon for hydrating facial what service is included? Then I talk to the person about what happened and she put me on hold and said in that coupon it was not included as far as I know I buy these kind of groupon but this was a wrong choice. Alert. Really nice staff but it took a very long time. 2 hours and 15 minutes for a regular pedicure and gel manicure. 3 days after my appt one nail came completely off and 2 days later another one came off. Sooo disappointing, as was Phyllis's response when I wrote her about it. read more

The owner was less than welcoming and the woman who did my facial did not wear gloves. I should have spoken up because I noticed her fingernails looked dirty and yellow. It did not compare to other facials I have received. I also learned the body sculpting machine is not approved by the fda. Not sure the owner or anyone has a license. Risky business. read more

Took my daughter to the spa to have her nails and makeup done, the spa is relaxing and gorgeous ! Lauren was incredible and made her feel special and she looked drop dead gorgeous when we left! Also saw a baby shower going on when we were there what a great idea definitely going to keep that in mind when planning my next event read more

I went for the first time to get a gel manicure. It's a beautiful place and the manicurist was wonderful but I could not believe the EXTREMELY limited selection of gel colors. I did not get the color that I wanted to get at all. Very disappointed in that part. read more

Went to an event at Sanctuary Med Spa last night. What a fabulous place. You walk into a zen-like entrance with soft lighting and a see-through fireplace. Sit by the fireplace and be at peace. License professional to serve you and state of the art facility. An exterior stone garden with koi pond. Have a glass of wine and relax. You would never know you were in Paoli. Feels like a Poconos resort. The Sanctuary will host parties. Have a girls night out. I will be back. read more

Incredibly overpriced services for what you get. I have lived and currently live in areas with higher cost of living and I have never been charged so much for a 20 min facial and basic pedicure (no massage, just a nail clip and polish change). The ladies were nice who worked there, but I will never return and would never recommend this spa. I was charged $220 for these two services (before tip). It was a very disappointing way to treat my mom for mother's day. read more

This spa is beautiful!!! I love the environment and the spa team is great to work with. I've been doing microneedling sessions and the difference in my skin is amazing!! I went for a manicure and the tech was 30 minutes late, someone else started my manicure after I had waited 25 minutes. Everyone was very nice and pleasant, I had a wonderful experience. My nails looked great when I left. BUT, my manicure only last 2 1/2 days. Then the polish started to peel off and the nails look awful. Not sure I would go back. read more
