The lobby: There was an angry customer in the waiting room who was complaining about being there double booked for a second time and had rescheduled multiple times. Why the customer did this more than once is beyond me. Still, we had hope. The massage: bless their hearts they were kind and welcoming but what these women did was not a massage. This is an oiled down rub by what felt like baby hands. There was no technique, no strength, no professionalism. We will never be back and again, not my worst nightmare but not the quality they promote. Both "massage therapists" were tipped 20% because none of this is their fault. They're simply trying to make a living.

Check in was also smooth, you have to fill out a sheet prior to the massage. We were greeted right away and asked if we wanted something to drink so we had water while we filled out the questionnaire. We arrived 5 min early but didn't get taken into the massage room until 15-20 min later. The space is pretty large with lots of massage rooms! Once we were taken in we prepared for our massage and facial. We started with the facial which was very basic. They clean your face, exfoliate, place a hot towel and then moisturize. No extractions, steam, serums or sunscreen. If you're looking for a true facial this is probably not the place. The massage was not a true massage, like most of the other reviews it was a rubdown with oil. No pressure at all. I've received many massages over the years and they all have the same structure and mostly vary on the pressure. This massage didn't follow that structure and had no pressure at all. I wouldn't be surprised if the people giving these massages were not licensed (in my opinion). The ad said the experience would be 70 minutes but it was more like 50-60 minutes. The ad mentioned we would receive champagne and chocolates which we didn't. I don't recommend this place for a true massage or facial. The staff was very friendly but that's not enough for me to come back.

Looking back, I can't help but feel that the skin check was mainly a way to justify charging the $50 copay, since no treatment or procedure was actually done for the cyst. Throughout the visit, I couldn't shake the feeling that my concern was more of a bother than something the doctor genuinely wanted to help with. After examining me, Dr. Gutierrez said she wouldn't perform the procedure and referred me to a plastic surgeon instead. When I asked for the billing codes she had mentioned earlier, she refused to provide them, which left me feeling frustrated and misled. One thing patients should know is that this office asks for full payment for procedures upfront rather than billing insurance first. You have to wait for your insurance to process and maybe refund you later. They were quick to collect the $50 copay just to tell me to find somewhere else -- even though they're already getting paid significantly more through my insurance just for that visit. It's frustrating to see how many doctors now pick and choose which procedures they want to take on, while still charging full visit fees. It creates a system where patients pay for consultations without ever receiving care, and it's making too many providers complacent. The health system in this country already feels confusing and discouraging, but this visit really highlighted how exhausting it can be for everyday, hardworking Americans who aren't wealthy Coral Gables residents just trying to get basic care.
