Don't fall for the song and dance that you will be given on your first visit...Dr Salomon is very good at it and will sell you everything under the stars. My wife was very excited to have her face-lift. She visited Dr Salomon and he told her she would look 25 years younger and persuaded to sell her everything whether she needed it or not because according to him one procedure worked in connection with the other. My wife paid him over 30k all of which she put on credit cards. She was very excited because as he told her, he was amongst the best. She had the surgery and about 2 to 3 months later as the swelling subsided so did the face-lift. The main reasons she wanted to get it done was because of the marionette lines, jowls, and neck area. All of which look exactly the same now. One side of her face was lower than the other and it still is. She visited Dr Salomon a few times and he always gave her that song and dance that everything was fine and all he was willing to do was fillers and more fillers. My wife begged him to please correct it because she would never be able to go through this expense again and he always refused to do anything other than fillers. My wife has visited a few surgeons to get opinions and they all have said that she would need to do a deep plane facelift all over again and of course she can't afford it. It would have been easy for him to do what he needed to do but he denied her. My recommendation ... visit many doctors before you decide because he will suck you in and he is definitely not even close to the best. read more

Complcations happen. My story. Iv waited a good while to post my story. I am 6 months post op now and wanted anyone reading this to have a good information when making decisions about surgery . Dr. Johnny Solomon performed Explant with lollypop lift . I had had my implants in for 20 years . I had longed to have them removed for at least 15 of those twenty years. They looked great but just not for me. So my first advice to young girls is maybe just don't do it. I would say probably 70% of my friends who had implants done when they were younger all want them out now. So when a friend of mine had hers removed with Johnny I was paying close attention. She had no complications and results were great so I decided to do it ! Everything went as scheduled in the surgery. I was fine and had minimal pain. I never took any of the pain meds. About a month post surgery my right breast filled with inflammation or Seroma as they call it. The dr immediately had me come in and they had to insert a needle thru the chest area and drain the seroma... yes OUCH :( but even worse is the fact that unfortunately I got used to it. The seroma kept coming back so the draining twice a week became my new norm. From what the dr. explained usually he drains just a few times and it stops but not in my case. After no end in sight he decided to insert a drain that I would need to go home with for a couple weeks. Double OUCH .That procedure I could never get used to. Even though he injected some numbing, it was really painful, and I have a pretty high tolerance for pain. So then 2 weeks with the drain in me and it did not help so it was removed and he went back to draining with the needle weekly. This went on for 4 months.. At this point I was sure I was going to need surgery again. I let the doctor guide me and tried to have faith . After about 4 or 5 months suddenly it did start to dry up and the cavity closed. At this point I was left with alot of scar tissue and one slightly deformed breast. The scar tissue pulls especially when i raise that arm. It is uncomfortable and doesn't look great but at least no more draining . Im still not really sure why this happened but I think it may be from a little bit of that thin lining that was not removed. And I will say that some doctors don't remove it because they feel like that would leave more damage inside. I think they make that decision based on what they see when they go in. So in closing if you ask me would I still have done it had I known all this ...I probably would say yes. I really did not want to have implants inside my body anymore.I just wanted to feel like my natural self . So for me even with the complications It was worth it . Just go into it with the knowledge that these things can happen and even with a great doctor you could find yourself in a similar situation. I really like Dr. Johnny Solomon and I still have hope that maybe that one breast will get better with time. Dr.Solomon has said he has a laser in his office that he says could help, but it's pricy and so we will see. I hope this has been helpful to somebody.Im happy to talk to anyone who has any questions. I had breast augmentation at 20. Two babies and 20 years later, I figured I was due. I can honestly say that I would have been so much happier with NOT having done them. I originally had no noticeable scars around the areola, now not only do I have noticeable scars but they are uneven. It's a crooked circle. He also managed to make my areolas uneven when there was no issue before. A few weeks post surgery I had asked him about an odd bumpiness I felt underneath one of my breast. He dismissed my concerns. A few years later, it turns out that the bumpiness was a ruptured implant. I would definitely recommend looking into someone else. read more

Went in for a consultation for a breast reduction with Dr Salomon he explained my options He answered all my questions and concerns, he has an incredible personality with a great bedside matter not to mention his reputation of being one of the top plastic surgeons in Miami. I went ahead with my procedure. I removed my implants, breast lift with fat grafting and lipo to my axilla, back, flanks and hips. I am one week post op and feeling great. I'm being generous with one star. I'm horrified at my results: the scars are terrible And he is in denial about my results. One implant is visibly larger. I'm now stuck with one C cup and D cup. I've approached this doctor in regards to my disappointment and he doesn't care to remedy this situation. I'm being told by other doctors that in order to fix his mistakes ( even though they cannot correct the brutal scars because they are too large) it will cost me roughly $9k. Doctors that saw my before pictures question why he gave me a lift when removing the old implants with larger ones would have created the desired effect. I have to advise you to avoid using this doctor. He clearly doesn't care and hasn't offered anreparations. He is well aware of my unhappiness. I visited this office early in the year and received a Thermage treatment. I was doubtful of seeing any real results as my research indicated a lot of patients failed to see any benefit of this treatment. It was a suggested treatment. I saw some minimal results but it seemed to be very short in duration. The treatment took about an hour long and was administered by a non-physician staff member. I paid $3,000.00. I think considering everything this was a lot of money for the treatment. I recently received a chemical peel. The peel did not produce any redness or provide for any peel so I fail to see the benefit here as well. I more recently received some Botox to my forehead and upper neck. I had a consultation with Dr. Salomon early October, from the moment I walked in I felt at ease. The staff is very attentive and welcoming! Great sugeon. I have had 3 successful surgeries in this office. Only downside The staff often seems surprised that I am there, leaving me feeling unimportant and they seem confused about what I need or what I am scheduled for, argue with me about payment (I always pay up front). Twice I was charged incorrectly and had to go back to rectify the charges. Upside is amazing surgeon and Nurses Jeanette and Leah are amazing and Denia was great at helping me schedule. I had a badly deviated septum which did not allow me to breathe properly, my nose was also crooked and the tip was facing down kind of droopy. I had a surgery about a year ago with another doctor to correct the deviation and also do a rhinoplasty to get rid of the bump i had on the top but after surgery my nose was still crooked and i was not happy about my appearance at all. I went in for laser hair removal with Marie. It wasn't my first time being treated by her. She started lasering my legs, and after I told her I was feeling immense pain, she lowered the power level, and continued on lasering. My legs ended up burned, with halfmoon welts all over my legs and I was charged full price for the session! Marie tried to provide me with creams to help me heal, but after the welts turned into scabs, which turned into white scars, I went to see a dermatologist. There the dermatologist, told me the pigmentation on my scars may never return to be the same. The melanocytes were dormant from the damage that was done. Also, the half-mooned scars were indication that the laser was done incorrectly. I learned the laser has to be held perpendicularly to the skin, versus at a slant-which would leave the half moon shapes. I requested my health records from Dr. Salomon's office and noticed the level Marie had used was way over the level she had used in the past. Thank goodness after a year, my skin finally came back to normal, but I won't risk getting anything else lasered there! read more
