We took over a lease at an amazing rate, their deposit transferred over, all the stars aligned. Thus proved, it's not always a good outcome if something is too good to be true. That being said, the complex itself is a mess, although, the property manager is doing his best to maintain this decrepit building. I say this because there are constant repairs that encroach on personal life and well being. Especially the plumbing. So beware, if you plan to live on a ground floor apartment. oh yeah, did I mention I fell on loose pavers and sprained my knee? If the scare of a sewer back up (or mold) doesn't scare you away (make sure your renters insurance includes floods!). Imagine absolutely no privacy! The structure of this building is a fishbowl. You cannot pick your nose (that is gross) without someone seeing you. This leads to a prying environment. Ironically, we ran into a previous tenant and they describe these spectators as "old clams". It was the perfect juxtaposition LOL! All in all, if you are a young professional, move downtown or atleast Gulfport. The waterfront views are only great for a short time. Soon you will get stir crazy!

Multiple pools with one of them overlooking the water. Quick and easy walk over the the restaurants, bars and shops of Gulfport. I always felt safe here, and neighbors are very friendly. Especially great location if you fish! Only drawback is that washer and dryer are not included in the unit so you have to pay and go to the community laundry room, although I never had an issue with getting an available machine. Also the floor plans are kind of small, but worth it for the beautiful view. New management is very friendly and great that the office is now open on Saturday's as well. Maintain everything we're always very friendly and helpful as well!

Loved the location and the fact we had a full kitchen and easy access to all the amenities, especially Publix right across the street! On the down side. We had to buy some trash bags, there was an exposed power strip that was very overloaded and when we opened the dishwasher to look for coffee cups it was full of stale dirty water and mold on the dishes inside. I'd think for the $65 cleaning fee, the place would be clean. Other than that bit of grossness, we enjoyed our stay.

Without giving me any notice to move my bike they locked me out of the room. They also made no effort to agree to the other terms of the lease renewal. There were no coffee filters so I couldn't make coffee. The bathroom had no place to put your clean clothes. One small soap that had to sit on the bathroom sink, no soap dish. There was very little water pressure in the whole place. The shower handle came off. The couch sunk in the middle so when you sat on it you went down. There was a hail storm and the television service was knocked out. I had no tv for2 days. My biggest concern was that you had to text the motel manager for what you needed. There was no one on the premises. They did credit my payment because the website had one price and booking.com gave me another price. I'm sure another room might have had better furniture and water pressure.

It's modern and clean. We had an apartment right outside of the pool, which was convenient. It's also within walking distance of Sunset Park and several restaurants! You can also walk to the nearest public beach access or take a quick drive down there. Completely up to you! The pool is very quaint. It wasn't the warmest while we were there, so hanging out at the pool consisted of being fully clothed overlooking the water. The pool is not heated and was freezing (it was early March). There is a working grill for the tenants' use. Everything smelled so good that people were grilling! There is an unmarked coin laundry room off of the pool (I had to ask where it was because there is no indication it exists). It's very small but very convenient ($1.50/load for both the washer and the dryer). There was never anyone in the office, however there is a sign on the door telling you to call or text their phone. They always responded quickly by text!

It has now been over 6 months with no estimate for completion. The fact that the lobby has been in disrepair and there is no gym. A deal with Crunch is not something that I can utilize. The couple who owns them is super nice and so helpful with our visit. The cottages are nice and you can tell some well-thought effort went into updating them. Everything there was quiet. The pool was nice and the tiki hut made for a nice place to chat with fellow relaxers. The beach is a short five minute walk. With a less-than ten minute walk, you're at John's Pass with shopping, restaurants and bars. We had planned on going to other places while visiting, but we barely left the radius around the cottages.

The villas are perfect for staying for a longer time and everything you could wish for in a kitchen is there. It is extremely clean, very beautifully decorated and just perfect. The hosts (june and Bill) are so friendly and helpful that we felt like family when we left. The other people staying there were also extremely nice and the atmosphere was wonderful. This was supported by the tradition that everybody staying there would gather for a glass of wine or a drink at around 5 in the afternoon in the tiki-hut. Even though we were the only ones with children we felt so welcome. I would love to go there again and I am sure that we would feel just as welcome the next time. We stayed in Villa Paradiso, which was the largest of the villas, but I also saw the inside of some of the other villas and they looked just as nice. The beach was a short 3 min walk from the cottages and John's Pass was around 5-10 minutes away when walking.
