The principle is very involved, as are the other members on staff. Fishers has a wide variety of clubs and sports, and many tsudents are in at least one club and/or sport. We, and about 1400 others, went to the last of 5 shows. Great performance from all the groups. Quite the preduction, including costume changes every song, and the student orchestra rivaling any soundtrack to the vocals. And they did songs in English, Spanish, French, one from Africa (not sure which language),and ASL! It was really enjoyable. Just dont get seats in the first 4 rows of the balcony, the view is obstructed. #ReviewsByRL

It's so crowded, and homework work load is insane. I have a quiz every damn class, and I don't have time to do anything after school., I pull all-nighters multiple times, and just spend hours doing homework and studying, im never free. I wanted to switch out but was forced to stay I hate it so much, it infuriates me, they even make classes I lactually like history and English, somehow boring. again workload is way too much. its just the whole air of it as soon as I walk in every morning makes me depressed. every class I just counted the minutes till the end. Any reasonable call on the other team was full of cheers and reasonable call on their team was met with crazy outrage. They yell out at the refs constantly. When one kid on the opposing team needed to adjust his pads they are screaming, "why don't we get him a drink". When the refs needed to discuss the yardage they were yelling, "do you need a calculator". I just wanted to scream, "hey, you idiots, 1. they can't hear you on the field and 2. you sound so ignorant and are setting a horrible example for all the kids around. Truly the most entitled and worst high school football fans I have encountered!

What sets this community apart is the faith-centered foundation. During a major life event for our family, our kids weren't just supported, they were surrounded by a community that consistently prayed over them and walked alongside us in a very real way. That kind of care goes beyond the classroom. What matters most to us is that my kids are thriving. I transferred to Heritage Christian after my junior year of high school at Brebeuf Jesuit, and it…read morewas the worst mistake I could have made. My first week there was a "random" drug test and Phil Nikirk (the high school principle at the time) watched as me and another student took a piss sample in the restroom. I'd say it took 5 minutes for me to actually go, it felt like this guy was breathing down my neck. Not only did I feel violated, the harassment continued throughout the year from all high school teachers. I'd get weird looks, and felt as though they wanted to burn me at the stake. This was partly because the school had driven me to a manic episode that pretty much ruined my senior year. Although I had to take a leap year, I still managed to play lacrosse at the same college I had committed to. The high school staff managed to create two semesters of suffering, at an apparently "good-willed" school. Lets not forget the prison-like exterior, it gives me the chills. Funny thing is that this school managed to convert me to a huge believer in faith when I left for college. You would be saving yourself lots of money by not coming to this school! As well as your child's sanity!
