This place is fantastic with a lovely collection of high-quality handmade pottery which are made by artists in Wheeling. First, the studio and shop is only a 2 minute drive north of the main downtown area with nearby street parking available. Second, you'll see their inventory displayed as you enter the store and can ask about the different glazed colors on the pottery. Third, it's a little pricey but I think the high-quality of products made by local artisans is worth it. Fourth, you'll be supporting the local community with your purchase! Overall, it's worth a visit here in you're in town for a lunch stop during regular business hours on weekdays. I found Wheeling, WV to be full of historical gems (walk on the Suspension Bridge if you can and stop by the Heritage Port Park). Don't be fooled by first impressions - yes, it's easy to see that many dilapidated buildings need TLC. But there's also a positive sense of community in Wheeling.

The tone of the conversation changed when I was met with a condescending and scolding attitude from their employee for not calling sooner. I called to confirm they were open and able to receive the package. This was a legitimate question. I didn't have to call in advance last time they received a ffl item for me. When I explained that, they told me they will refuse the delivery now and to have the item shipped somewhere else. Refusing to accept a customer's already-shipped transfer item out of spite because they didn't like how the conversation ended is not professionalism, it's retaliation. Exercising this option reflects poorly on how they handle conflict and customer relationships.

The store knows it has gems, and the prices reflect that. The store is very well curated, though, and not just loaded full of junky stuff. You will definitely find something at Outdated Threads if you're a stylish cat who likes copping vintage sports shirts, Cosby pullovers, acid washed denim, ironic hats and other slick stuff. For the most part, the store sells menswear, but if you're a discerning lady, you will find stuff here, too. You'll also find lots of accessories, jackets, posters and video games to play. They have a vintage Pac-Man console in the back! One of my children did not want to leave this store because he was having so much fun playing Pac-Man for free.
