Sand Hollow Aquatic Center (SHAC), was a delight from the get go. The young staff at the front desk was very professional and respectful. The center was clean, well kept, and the water warm.

We enjoyed our time here. The facility is clean and well maintained. The canopy was great that kept us away from the hot summer sun. They have a huge slide, whirlpool, lap pool and kids play pool area. We paid the non resident visitor day pass and it was around $5 bucks per kid all day from 1 pm to closing.

The water slide is a thrill, the climbing wall a blast and the mini lazy river a good time for all.

Perfect place to spend your Saturday afternoon! It's a typical city pool, but there are lots of…read moreperks to this one specifically, as long as you're willing to do your part. 1) Get there around the time it opens, we arrived around 1pm and there were still a handful of pool chairs to snag. There aren't a ton, so if you have a larger group, just be aware. And if you don't get a spot because you showed up after everyone else, don't let it ruin your day. There's plenty of grass you can lay your towel down on and claim a piece of land for the day. 2) Bring some snacks and water, there is also a treat shack you can check out if you forget. A cooler will be your best bet though, we ate our Twix candy right when we sat down and it was already melted.. St. George heat is toats cray. 3) It's very affordable, $3 if you're over the age of 13 and an extra $2.50 is you want to ride the slide unlimited amounts. It's pretty fun and only took me 22 seconds to go down, so try to beat that #Aerodynamic. The lifeguards are just young kids, so don't expect your service to be out of this world. They just take your money and blow the whistle if you try to jump off the diving board with goggles on. So again, it's up to you to have a good time and enjoy your day! TIPS & TRICKS: * Bring a basketball or other pool games. There are usually two balls floating around but someone always has them. * The locker rooms are quite clean, feel free to bring a change of clothes if you have somewhere you need to be.

This place was awesome. We got a discount by booking it through the Dwellings which is where we…read morestayed. That discount allowed us all day access for basically cheaper than a two hour pass. It's sectioned off between family friendly area and adult only area, since it was just me and my husband on his birthday trip I really appreciated that it was so relaxing. But I do like that they have an area for families as well. There are tons of pools in each section. Each pool tells you the temperature and the mineral content. Drinks were ok, the bar could use some upgrades but the food was good. Amenities like the sauna, cold plunge and fire pits were nice; the changing rooms have lockers (wristband access), swim suit dryer, showers, spacious Would definitely recommend and will be returning if in the area

First Impressions The place looks fantastic -- new, clean,…read moremodern, and clearly designed for people who want to unplug. If you forget anything pool‑related, the shop has you covered, though you'll pay a premium. Lockers activated by your wristband are a smart touch and work flawlessly. Layout & Amenities Two distinct areas: Family side -- the only large pool on the property, and honestly one of the cleanest pools I've ever seen. Whoever maintains it deserves a medal. 21+ side -- quieter, alcohol allowed, dotted with small mineral pools. Each mineral pool has a QR code explaining the minerals and benefits. Nice idea, but this is a place meant for detaching, so pulling out your phone feels counter‑productive. Shade is limited, so claim a spot early. Desert sun doesn't play around. Cabana Experience Cabanas run $150 for a single and $200 for a double. For someone like me -- pigment‑challenged and prone to burning faster than sagebrush -- the shade alone is worth it. But here's where the star gets lost. You're told cabanas include waited service, so you don't have to stand in line. In reality, we had to: Go order food ourselves Wait nearly 30 minutes Go back to check on it Finally receive a $40 order that didn't justify the price The staff were friendly, but the system isn't working. A simple QR‑code ordering system for cabanas would fix 90% of the issue. Food Quality Pizza: Exactly what you'd expect -- flatbread with cheese and pepperoni. Not bad, not great. Brisket sandwich: Mostly bread with a sprinkle of brisket. Weak showing for the price. If you're going to charge premium resort prices, the food needs to match. Tips & Takeaways Eat before you go -- or plan to leave and come back if you're staying nearby. Don't buy a full day pass unless you're close enough to take breaks. Shade is essential -- cabana optional, but helpful. Scout the family side then bounce between areas if you're kid‑free. A few hours is plenty unless you're a sun worshipper. Final Verdict Beautiful facility, excellent pools, relaxing atmosphere -- but the food service and cabana experience need improvement. Worth visiting, but plan smart and manage expectations.

I think I really lucked out. We work with other pool/ hot…read moretub techs/ maintenance companies in other parts of the state, but we just started managing vacation rentals down in the St. George area too and needed to find a service provider we could trust to manage client's hot tubs and pools in the area. I just called a few random providers and only 3 responded to me, almost completely picking at random, I ended up choosing RPC. Best decision ever. From the first week service started, I was blown away. The service itself was done perfectly, but on top of that, the report he emails us every week to show what has been done is more thorough than I have ever received from any service company or trade. The step-by-step walk through of what they did accompanied by photos of every action they took blows me away. They take more photos of the hot tub during each visit than my cleaning company takes of a full 6-bedroom house after their cleaning. The confidence and reassurance this gives me that my client's hot tub and equipment are in good hands is invaluable to my business. I work with plenty of other service providers and have never received this kind of feedback after each service and as such I have never felt so sure about the service being done. I never take the time to write reviews, Seth and RPC never asked me to, but I've been so impressed, I had to come find out where I could leave a review and do it. In a world where most people only leave a review when their mad, the fact that he has perfect 5-star ratings here says something. If you're looking for a pool or hot tub tech, don't be like me and pick at random, read this and know you don't need to consider any other options. This is it; you found the right guy; you found the right company.
