We chose to do business with Arry's primarily based on a recommendation from a prior customer of theirs. First, they were genuine in their assessment. We had so many roofing companies knock on our door telling us that we needed a new roof based on what they arw seeing from the ground. We called Aries and upon their inspection, they said that we only needed to fix one side, which had the most damage and the rest of the roof has five more years left. They gave us an estimate, which we thought was pretty reasonable compared to the other 2 quotes we obtained. We proceeded to select the color. On installation day, they noticed that the color we previously selected didn't really match the existing roof given its age. They no longer make the existing roof that we have so we had to find the closest match. Instead of just going with what we picked installing it and saying hey that's what they picked anyway , they took an extra step to make sure that all sections of the roof matched. We also had to change the location of solar power dock and they did it for us for no extra charge. They're great to deal with very professional, timely, and accommodating. Been dealing with a leak in the roof for over a year with horrible communication. Leak was detected in the roof and called Arry's and they were out a few days later. Said the stucco on the chimney was leaking. Asked the to remove the chimney and they gave me a quote to re stucco it. There is no fireplace so no need to have a chimney anymore. After periods of no emails and no calls backs ended up removing the chimney to find out it was the flashing. They still want to charge me 2500 to fix it and I agreed and they still haven't shown up to fix it. The "warranty" doesn't mean shit. Find someone smaller and cheaper. Arry's Roofing replaced our roof on 17 APR 2011. Arry's Roofing Services was the ONLY roofing company in the Tampa Bay area that the manufacturer of the roofing materials would be WARRANTIED; so, Arry's replaced our 5-year old LEAK'n-like-a-SIEVE roof & rotted ALL the wood underneath the shingles that had been incorrectly installed by a different roofing company; but, the warranty had been deemed INVALID bc that roofing company was NOT a CERTIFIED roofing company by the manufacturer of those roofing materials. Our electricity bills decreased by one-third the amount of the previous roof. In 2011, our normal monthly TECO bill was over a hundred bucks = AFTER the new roof, it decreased to $39 during winter months & under $80 bucks during spring & autumn & decreased from $200/month during summer months to near $100. (Of course, NOW, in 2024 = TECO has TRIPLED our rates; so, it's much higher; but, it is NOT bc of the ROOF = it's been reported the INCREASES R due 2 the gop$ being OWNED by the 1% elite CABAL$!!!) We TRUST them, & they TREATED us like we were KIN. We chose the GAF/ELK Lifetime Timberline Architectural [130 mph] HD shingles, with the Deck Armor underlayment & 2 new TOP-RATED VELUX skylights. PLUS, our homeowners' insurance policy received a $507.00 DISCOUNT, as well as another $390 DISCOUNT 4 having a HIP ROOF for Arry's Roofing performing the work bc they were the ONLY roofing company recognized as CERTIFIED by the GAF corp's shingles. We just called ARRY's 2 C IF they installed ONE-WAY EXCLUDER EXIT doors 4 ANY critters that gain access in2 the attic through the soffits, etc. They DO NOT; but, they recommended PHOENIX Pest Control; so, we'll get an estimate from PHOENIX, as well as LIBERTY Pest services for the RHINO EXCLUDER door & copper, or 18-gauge galvanized metal mesh. Also, ARRY's answered our emails & returned our calls extremely quickly & still send their CUTSEY NEWSLETTER 2 us = even NOW = in 2024!!! ARRY's conducts bidness like AMERICANS WHO were PROUD of their WORK did back in the 1950s, 60s, 70s & some of the 80s. P.S. Also, ARRY's laid a tarp around the house that caught the nails & other stuff from the old roofing; so, there wasn't a NIGHTMARE of debris from the deroofing & reroofing = like the previous TWO roofing companies had done = that had caused flat tires & stepping on nails, & we had 2 remove!!! Overall, we are satisfied with the results and our workmen were professional and very hard workers. A few stars were lost because of the huge lack of organization and communication from the office staff at the company. Besides buying our house, our metal roof install is the most expensive house project we've ever done and it almost seemed like the office workers had no idea what the process was and when we inquired about information we would just get passed around from one employee to the next. A few times we were given completely wrong information and then when we tried to communicate and address the issue at hand, we were gaslight and told we were never told this or that etc. Our initial sales person was helpful and the actual installers were great but everyone else was a bit of a mess. read more

We had our roof replaced with Arry's in 2020 and they are very skilled at what they do. However, we subsequently attempted to get them back out and spent well over a month of wasted time back & forth trying to get them back out due to an area where flashing wasn't installed that resulted in rain significantly damaging the front column of our home. Apparently they only like to install roofs-not service ones they installed. We spoke and emailed with so many different people, it was as if they wanted to deter us from contacting them. Some of the reps we spoke with were downright condescending and rude. It's ironic that they give you a cash card to activate to use for future repairs when they have no intention of servicing the roof! I feel bad that we recommended them to others & hope they don't need any follow up work done or they will be frustrated. It's a shame that a company that provides a quality roof leaves the customer on their own should problems arise. I would not use them again or recommend them. read more

I bought a home last year that developed a leak in the roof. The roof was done 7 years ago by Arry's Roofing. A roof is generally guaranteed for 10 years but when I contacted them they noted thier warrantee does not transfer with the sale. I had them come out a provide a estimate of repair and they did not seem concerned about the faulty work. I had it repaired by another company and turns out the flashing on that portion was not installed. I cannot recommend this company. read more

I contacted Arry's for an estimate for either a repair or replacement, whichever made the most sense. We had to wait three weeks for an estimate, which I understood-- we had just had a lot of rain and I imagine there was a long list of people needing repairs. A salesperson named Chris came on the agreed-upon date and gave us a verbal estimate which seemed to be on the high side, but we thought if they did a good job it would be worth it. We were told an estimate would be emailed before the weekend, which was a few days away. I never received an estimate. I emailed just prior to the weekend asking if an estimate for solar could be done as well. Chris responded affirmatively to that email. I never heard back after that. I tried to get in contact with him again and failed. I did not put any more effort into it after that. I don't have time to chase after businesses who don't want my money. We ended up going with a different roofer who gave us a written estimate on time, cost significantly less, and did a great job replacing the roof. UPDATE 10/2/2019: After seeing this review, Chris called and apologized. That is not an easy thing to do and it tells me that Arry's does care about customer service. Estimator/sales person came to our house on 10/16 to give us an estimate on replacing four skylights. Nice guy (think the guy's name was Chip), was here at least an hour. He was supposed to call back with the estimate and we never heard from him again! After careful consideration having received three different estimates, my fiancé and I decided to go with Arry's for our new roof. Boy, were we disappointed! Following the project and knowing what I know now, I went back and read a lot of the bad reviews and our experience seemed to fall right in line with everyone else's. Our main complaint is Very poor communication. Once they get you under contract, then they essentially do not maintain contact with you, especially after the project starts. We had them come out and start the project, but then left in the middle of the day and never came back. We were confused as to what had occurred and why the project just stopped. They did find terminate damage and couldn't continue which I do understand; however, no one called to communicate that to us! We had to call the next day to find out what was happening and what we needed to do. We also had to ask them FOUR DIFFERENT times to remove our gutters. When the salesman came out and did the estimate, he told me that gutter removal would be free of cost. I told him I wanted that. I also asked about it and confirmed that I wanted it when I signed the contract. We had to call them again when they stopped working because they left the gutters on. They came back out and only removed half. I didn't panic because they still had to finish the roof. However, once the roof was completed, the gutters on the back of the house were still left on and when I called to ask, I was told "It's not in your contract". Needless to say, they came out and removed my gutters, but they couldn't come out until the day the company that I hired to put new gutters on was coming out. Then they called me that morning and stated they were running late. The overall quality of the work they did was fine. My roof looks good. However, I'd strongly suggest going with a different company. If I had to do it again, I would not choose Arry's. Once they got my money, they didn't really seem to care about me, my home, the project, or any sort of communication. I had to call all the time to ask for things I never received. I specifically dealt with Kristen and while she was polite, she didn't seem to recall anything we had ever discussed and I spoke with her probably about once per week. It got so bad that I actually started to having to document my conversations with her because I frequently had to reference dates, times, and what we talked about when trying to get services that I had to pay a lot of money for. The bottom line, when you're paying the amount of money that you'll pay for a service, the company should be bending over backwards to ensure you're happy, communicated to, and have a thorough understanding and idea of what's going on and Arry's does not do that. read more

Well here it is nearly four years later and I'm told by the Building Dept of Hillsborough Cty that the permit expired in 2016. When I asked what that mean't they told me that Arry's didn't complete the questionnaire completely so it wasn't accepted. We made an appointment for Arry's Roofing to come out and give us an estimate on our roofing repair job. We have a small leak on the eve over the back door. The company rep, Ronald Pineda, showed up half an hour late, took a look at our roof, and quoted us $1500. We were shocked at the price, for such a small job. The rep calmly said, like he didn't have a care in the world, "Oh, we bill $600 just forour trucks to pull out of the driveway." We were shocked and dismayed. Furthermore, we were told that they were too busy to work on our job for another 3 months. Hurricane season will do a lot of damage by then. I heard about arry's first thru word of mouth while waiting for wife during shopping at Kohls the guy who told me was absolutley very excited. about his roof job. I then read several reviews and was amazed at how many people felt the same. I then had the usual 3 estimates and Chuck from arry's came to my home and explained the process and the Gold standard warranty, he was honest and even said he expected his estimate to be a little higher. He was so professional and went over every detail unlike the other estimates who measured and gave me the numbers and left. I then said let's do it and a contract was signed. When the day came I was told it would only take a day and I thought that was impossible but Mike and his crew showed up early and started almost imeadiatly, the job was ochestrated like a symphony first the truck was put in place and roof was removed ,and as that was being done bad wood was replaced as that process ended the peel and stick was de/livered and once that was done a truck showed up with shingles! I was amazed! Mike also answered any questions along the way and made me feel like I wasn't a pest and even encouraged my questions soon it was time for clean-up and that was done with the same quality as the roof work everyone pitched in and made it look like they weren't even here that day!.....All in all they really werent much more than the other two and they use GAF stuff the other guys were using Atlas and only GAF has the gold standard warranty so if you want it done right and want it to last use Arry's and get the Gold standard and get peace of mind read more

When our flat roof needed to be replaced, I started asking friends and family who they recommended. Time after time, it was Arry's. Two different people went with a cheaper roofer, but after months of problems, ultimately had to bring Arry's in to fix what was never done right the first time. Even our GC recommended Arry's. I knew something was different when I got a phone call confirming my initial appointment, and a request for my email address so they could send me a photo of the person coming to my house along with proof of background check! The job started one day late because of rain, but everything within Arry's control was great. The did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, and communicated with me the through the entire process. I will never use another roofing company. read more

I'm not sure how to rate this company. Arry's fixed a second story deck for us and the deck itself is awesome. However, the customer service is HORRENDOUS. There was a miscommunication between the person who gave the original estimate and us about costs of wood. Paying almost $9000 for a deck, we were under the impression that any wood that was needed was included. They said it wasn't. I gave Jeff an amount we were comfortable paying OVER the almost $9000 for the deck. He said he'd get back to me.. well he didn't then some one knocked on the door to get a check and we weren't home. Jump to Rebecca calling me, yelling at me, calling my husband a liar and honestly being one of rudest humans I've ever spoken to. I can't say that the workmanship outweighs the horrible, down right mean, woman who does the customer communication. If they get someone else to handle customer service, then yes I'd recommend.. if Rebecca is still there, find another company. I am changing what I previously wrote about Arry's Roofing. Why the last review I wrote was all true, I got a phone call from the owner who made things right. She actually had no idea about what had happened. When she saw my review she ask her employee who I specially mentioned in the last review, and she basically acted like she had no idea what I could possibly be talking about. The owner did not feel right about what happened and personally called me to apologize and was very sincere and bothered by how we were treated. I explained the story to her and she truly does care about their customers. She apologized numerous times and then told me that the bill was wiped clean. That was extremely nice of her and shows that they do care greatly, not just about their business but about their customers. So my advice, if you have an issue, go straight to the owners. If the staff gives you the run around and says they can't do that, don't believe them. The owners definitely want to know! read more

I worked with Arry's in late 2017-the actual roofing work was to my satisfaction. The scheduling and responsiveness to get the work done unfortunately was a nightmare with multiple issues (project duration changing at the last minute (from a 3 day job to a 5 day job) for no clear reason, 3-4 rescheduled dates to where I had made plans around, etc.). From the time I signed a contract to when the work was completed was about 3 months, possibly a little longer. I made it clear to management of the timing issues, with no customer friendly response--mostly excuses that I would need to deal with. Additionally, I was promised the final warranty paperwork they guarantee with the roof, which I still have not received, about 4 months after my job has been completed. I have reached out multiple times with still no response, and I'm not sure when I'm getting the paperwork. This is extremely frustrating to be treated as though I don't matter as the customer, just because they have collected payment. read more

THANK YOU FOR NOTHING ARRY's. I made and appointment for a $250.00 roof inspection because of possible damage + was told the inspector would inspect and then take pictures, etc. and give them to an internal sales person who would later contact for an estimate two weeks ago. This is what was set up and 100% confirmed with the office staff. We actually spoke TWICE on the phone very same day as they called me back to ask some more questions. Anyway I was CONFIRMED for the appointment on the 18th of December, 2018 around 11:00 AM (the office said that was the time their main top dog roofing inspector had open). I took took a 1/2 day off of work and found out THEY NEVER SHOWED UP OR PUT ME ON THE BOOKS. I called to ask what happened and the lady was beyond rude, interrupted, cut me off before I could finish a sentence and played the victim when I asked her if I could please finish my sentence while I was trying to explain the 2-step process of the inspection + collecting information to bring back for a salesman to quote for a brand new roof that was explained to me when I made the appointment. Talk about torpedoing business for a brand new roof install here. She was also initially less than apologetic for their mistakes when the called was transferred to her. When I pointed that out she claimed that she apologized at the beginning of the call (which is a flat out LIE, the first words words out of here moth was "So you want to book an appointment with KIM", not we are so sorry we screwed you over) and then offered up a piddle of an apology for my loss of work and time. She also claimed she never spoke to me in the past, but said that she is the only person in the company that books inspections with the master inspector??? Who did I speak to then two weeks ago when I was booked on the 18th of December for an inspection with the master inspector??? SANTA CLAUS??? This is what I get for referring this company to at least 10+ neighbors and friends in the past 3 years. The office staff member clearly demonstrated that this company could care less about their mistakes. Her clear lack of honesty, poor customer service, poor attitude, rude interruptions, etc. are most likely the end result of constant day in and day out office screw-ups and chaos with clients (I went though it back in 2016). They do great roofing work, but have the worst administrative staff in the business IMO. Funny as I am a repeat customer and the previous rude and insolent office person was FIRED for not being able to do her job back in 2016. PRO TIP: Hire office staff that are good as your roofers. Your office staff is F- on steroids. I should have learned from the first time around with these people but I decidded to be forgiving from the great office staff debacle of 2016 and wanted to give them a second chance. I did make an appointment in the fall of 2017 for a roof inspection. They did show up that time and I was charged $250 but as far as I know they did not send out KIM who is supposed to be their one and only master inspector at they have. read more
