Also, the owner is EXTREMELY kind and responsive. I requested a day pass and could have accessed the gym within 5 minutes. This is a great option if you are traveling and want to exercise.

Some of the nicest and most helpful employees at any PF I've been to. Fantastic workout and tanning facilities too. Lots of nice people using this place (and your usual jerks but every gym has them). Lots of hotties, we're not far from (cold) beaches so that might be partly why. Lovely part of Michigan. I've used a good 500 different PF locations in the last 10 years or so... I would say that this one is top 5, and it's because of the kids who were working there on the Saturday morning I was here. Nicest PF kids I've met. I wish everyone could be more like them. *Disclaimer - the no tank tops dress code no grunting no large water bottles, we don't judge so here's a list of how judgy we are, is by far the most obnoxious thing about PF, and thankfully this - and most - locations, ignore that stuff otherwise I would not be a member.

I do a full workout, including strength and cardio. I also try a class or two and see how staff treats me. Maddog is a cute urban boutique, #fierce. Class based facility with motivating and engaging instructors. AM class was just as energetic as the PM class. Love the RealRyder bikes! Drop in rates available. The reason I cancelled was the lack of cleanliness on everyone's part. No one ever wiped down the machines after workouts and if you wanted to you had to find one of the few bottles in the place that had a crusty old rag on it that you didn't want to touch and no access to fresh towels. The other problem is there is NO access to water except the bathroom sink and the water vending machine. It is a convenient location for a gym, but I'd rather make the drive to Niles YMCA.
