I clearly needed a job as I was in touch with her for months, with no car, and she took advantage of that. Yeseniah and the other worker, I think named Lady, demonstrated that have no education or know-how in working with children with autism and I did not think they were appropriate with the one autistic child of the bunch (I'm also on the spectrum). This poor little girl was not okay, mostly screaming and covering her ears the time I was there until she was left to just hang out with the adults and do her own thing while the other kids went in the playroom. because that's exactly how ASD goes. after the shift, I called Yeseniah a week later and threatened to report her to the Department of Labor if she did not give me my due payment for my one shift. gratefully I got it! So I'm writing this because I know teenage girls are gonna look into that position, get robbed and think it's normal. Ladies, DONT GET EXPLOITED! dont let anyone mess with your money. I enrolled my kid to this center because I trusted the fact that this center expanded the business in this area quite successfully. However, when I toured the center, I was not very happy when I looked at the faces of kids and staff. They didn't look very happy nor enjoy their job. Furthermore, I realized that this place is too pricey compared to the other daycares in the neighborhood. So in the end, I decided to withdraw my kid's enrollment. I visited the center and explained why I made such a decision. At that time the staff promised me that I would get a check for the first month's tuition, because, at the time of enrollment, I have already paid $150 + first month's tuition ($1195). Again, the staff told me that I can get it back and the reason why she cannot give it right away is because she does not have the checkbook. The staff talked about bad things about the school to which I am switching, which sounded not nice, but I did not take it seriously. She also mentioned that there was a policy that I should have notified them 45 days in advance, strictly speaking. I notified them 30 before the first day of school. So I understood that and I greatly appreciated their kind considerations. BUT, I did not receive the check for a month, and I have sent an email to remind that. The response I got was simple enough, "No, you cannot get a check. The owner decided not to do that." WHAT?? They just ate up my $1195 because I was late for 15 days to notify them. I can totally understand if they take out part of that money, but I cannot understand that they took all of it. Even more importantly, in that response, the staff mentioned that the owner called me and explained the situation. NO!! It never happened. The owner did not give me a call and I did not know the situation before "I" asked them. I courteously replied back if there is any possibility for a partial refund and explained that I have never received a call from the owner. That was it! They never responded back to me. I cannot trust their business. It seems to me that they only take care of their profits and tries to get out of money as much as possible. They never considered me as a future family even though I could send my kids to their summer camps or after-school care. I pass the center every morning and afternoon and see a lot of cars in there. Every time, I get very annoyed by their attitude to me, and I will never consider this place as one of my future childcare.

Most conversations among parents were about how cold everyone was, and many adults and children kept their coats and hats on the entire time. If the heat wasn't working, the event really should have been rescheduled. There were also safety concerns. The gate separating the play area from the rest of the space was not functioning and remained open the entire time. While I was putting away our shoes and diaper bag, my daughter slipped into the play area, which was unsettling. The Elmo costume itself looked great and was very realistic, but the character interaction was a major disappointment. The person inside the costume seemed disengaged and unhappy to be there. Elmo mostly stood in one spot and did not interact warmly with the children. There were no hugs, no pats on the back, and very little acknowledgment of the kids beyond an occasional half-hearted wave. For an event centered around meeting Elmo, the lack of enthusiasm and interaction was especially disappointing. The director Christina should win an Oscar for her acting skills. She will promise you the world and pretend that she cares about your child. We wanted a daycare closer to home so we decided to switch our child over to Tutor Time. Once your child is enrolled, you actually see the horrific practices of this establishment. There is absolutely​ no structure. Children do whatever they want. There is always a different adult in the room. Additionally, they are not compliant with the state laws, which requires 1 teacher for every 5 toddlers. My child was often in a room with 7 other children and 1 unfamiliar face. As previous reviews mentioned, this is a puppy mill that only wants your money. During an 8 hour day, my child's diaper was only changed twice. State law requires that diapers be changed every 2 hours. One of the many teachers​ we saw often spoke down to the children, "you guys are three and you don't know how to place your hands on the wall?" We often walked past the infant room in the afternoon and saw babies crying hysterically because no one was paying attention to them. One day, another baby was biting the edge of a bookshelf as she was teething. No one stopped her from biting the bookshelf and its varnish coating. My maternal instinct knew something was wrong but I just needed my little one to last a few weeks until June. I asked my brother to pick up my little one from Tutor Time because I was going to be at work past my regular schedule. My brother and his girlfriend went in before my usual pick up time and upon walking to the classroom they saw the teacher, Janet, DRAGGING MY CHILD BY ONE ARM ACROSS 5 FEET OF CARPET. THIS DISGUSTING HUMAN BEING ATTEMPTED TO PICK UP MY CHILD BY ONE ARM AND DROPPED HIM. My brother immediately​ told the director, who did not remove Janet from the classroom for another two hours. Christina, the director, was suddenly worried about ratio issues. Compliance is never a concern for them but that day it was. Furthermore, Christina forced herself to cry, in an attempt to show empathy. We were promised the video evidence within 48 hours. We are way past the 48-hour deadline and still waiting for answers. Run far away from this place. I would never want this to happen to any other child.

The teachers have no training whatsoever. Their only response to when a child doesn't behave is to isolate the child and eventually try to get rid of the child which causes much more harm than good." So it's not just me. Tutor Time has a bad reputation with my school district and they have a low opinion of Tutor Time's methods. Don't tell people to ignore my review because it is a 100% accurate reflection of my children's experiences there and people should know that it isn't the happy, sunny place you insist it is.

This has not been my experience in the 2+ years my daughter has been there and we have had nothing but positive experiences always. My daughter has a huge personality, super sassy and energetic. She is loved by everyone, the second she walks in the door she is getting hugs from everyone, past teachers come to see her in her class room and we even get to see some of the staff outside of TT bc they love her so much. Big personalities and lots of energy grow and prosper there and to say they are unwanted is very much untrue. Cleanliness is important to them, especially with covid and they are constantly taking the necessary precautions to keep the kids safe. I watch the cameras and they have very specific cleaning routines. My daughter has come home sick only once, for high fever - and she got it from her cousin not from the school. When they called me I was 45 minutes away and it was no problem at all, they were super sweet and took care of her until I could get there. The academic program is great - my daughter comes home every day learning new things. She soaks it up like a sponge and I love how many things they do every single day. There is always reading, writing, math, science - it blew my mind when she started how much she was actually learning. I thought they would spend most of their time playing but they fit in so much! For example just today they did days of the week, months of the year, weather, a fire drill sequence, a science experiment, learned about the ecosystem and counting. To say there is little to no academic instruction is insane and bizarre to me. Lastly, Allison and Danielle are amazing. They are incredibly sweet and love on my kid so much - and we don't have to "suck up" to get that kind of attention. They answer all my emails right away and are always so kind and helpful. They plan the most fun things for the kids and are always trying to do the best for them. I often get to the school early bc my job is so far away and if our daughters teacher isn't on site yet Danielle lets her hangout in her office with her, which is her favorite thing to do in the mornings! Allison sends me cute pics of our girl during the day when she can. They are just the best duo and we are so lucky our kid is in their hands. If you are considering tutor time I would not take that review very seriously.
