I spent $90 plus dollars at one of those pop-up tent places. Then went to Sanders where stuff was not only on sale but was also a lot less. Need to remember this place! We got sunpatiens for $2.50 and hollyhocks for $9. Seriously paid almost the same price for one single echinacea at the tent when I could have gotten a whole gallon container of flowers at Sanders. Me and my wife have been coming here for years and love it. We always make it the better part of a day due to the drive and selection. We always come out in early spring to get vegetables and again in late spring for flowers and such. The entrance is nicely done and very appealing when coming in on the drive. They have the biggest collection of trees and shrubs i have seen any where around here. They have a good selection of vegetables and flowers also but you have to get here with in the first two weekends of them coming out As they tend to go rather quickly. They also offer several different mulches and dirt bags, many of which cant be found elsewhere. They also have a nice selection of garden and outdoor decor as well. The staff has always been super friendly and accommodating to what ever you need. Give this place a try. You will be glad you did once you come out here. read more

We have been coming to Sanders here and there for the last year or so and like their selection and customer service. Their prices are pretty reasonable. My daughter and I were pleased to find they already had their fruit trees available. We got a Macintosh and Golden Delicious apple tree. They are currently dormant, but pretty tall and seemingly healthy. This was just before the weather got crazy, but the gentleman helped us load them securely in our car. read more

We have heard about this nursery for awhile now and were excited to check this place out. Since this is sort of in the middle of nowhere, we made it an event out of it. Their main entrance is quite impressive, they have small pond on both ends and with great curb appeal. They have a retail parking and wholesale parking. Parking wasn't difficult but don't expect paved lots though. Let's talk about the nursery, my first impression is they are BIG. It's like walking in a Walmart big. They have tremendous amount of trees and shrubs, hydrangeas, roses bushes and topiary, ground covers and perennials. They probably have the largest collection of Japanese Maples in Tulsa. We bought 2 sedums (on sale) that are still going strong since then. Staffs were willing to answer questions and friendly. "Some" prices are good but a lot of them are quite expensive. I think this place is really tailored for contractors who buy wholesale. I probably stick to Southwood Nursery instead. read more

Purchased 5 trees from them and three died less than two months. We cared for them per the recommendation and they still died. We spent a lot of money and they would not allow us to return or even exchange. Customer care is enough to get you out the door with product but following purchase it is not there. Sad about this, but it is what it is. They did plant a replacement tree for us a couple years ago and all went well. Not this time. Even for their employee, David Green. Last fall we were once again looking for replacement trees as we'd lost ALL our Italian Cypresses. We know. We'd already replaced two in front w/ another species, but that nursery owner said he couldn't get good help anymore so we were high/dry again. So we went to Sanders and with the help of David Green we chose a species we liked (NOT Aborvitae) He actually lives in midtown and came to our house after he got off wrk to view our yard. We felt pretty blessed. He said they'd get our 7 trees. We said great, knowing cooler weather is the time to plant trees. Yea, it got cooler. We even called him before going abroad to give another contact, as NOW he was telling us they would arrive before the middle of March. ?? It became 2017, he didn't return a call (turns out he was researching for us) so we called the nursery. They had record of the order & got David on the phone. Same story. Long story short, no trees. He asked us to come to the nursery and choose something else as our promised $80 trees X 7 were not to be. He said, "Go to aisle 14, I recommend those." $200 a tree. He was really tooooo busy to be helpful. We approached anyway. I asked what happened since it was past the middle of March. He said he didn't know. I asked where they were coming from. He said their Inola wholesale. "I don't know. Maybe they sold them all to somebody else." I asked, then, how did that make him feel. "Not very good," he admitted. Seven months later, calling, waiting, planning, & calling & calling we had nothing. Won't be driving out there any more. Their annuals have never been that great. So, why bother? read more

Extremly disappointed in Sanders. We bought a plant and a tree that have both died earlier than expected. The tree was a Coral Bark Japanese Maple. It wasnt cheap. They told us when we purchased it that they guaranteed them for 1 year from purchase. Well we were just informed they lied. I'm not sure if its the company that lied. Or the employee that lied. Either way, from now on we will be taking our business and money elsewhere. The only thing that lived from there was mislabeled. We thought we were buying black diamond crape myrtles with white blooms. But two of the three had red blooms. They have some serious quality control issues in my opinion. Be careful when you shop there. read more

I've gone to Sanders for years and decided to write a review after my recent trip there this past Friday. I was on the hunt for some very specific perennials and knew that this would be a great place to see what options were out there for Oklahoma. I've seen a plant on Brookside called Horse's Tail and they had it! Not only that but they were so helpful with how to plant it, where to plant it and how to prevent it from spreading where I didn't want it too. I've purchased several trees from Sanders over the years including pencil trees and Japanese Maples. All have done extremely well and are living today to tell their stories. :) What I experienced on this trip was just fantastic customer service in addition to great deals on annuals as it's nearing the end of the summer season. It was HOT on the day I went and I was offered complimentary water, which I thought was a nice touch. I've never had issues with anything I've purchased from Sanders and have only had great results. I only wish it was closer to where I live, but hey, for me personally, it's worth the 30 minute drive if you are on the hunt for something unique that's hard to find at other greenhouses in the Tulsa area. read more

This nursery can't be beaten for selection AND pricing! We have many nurseries we frequent throughout the growing season. Sanders is in our top 3. The most knowledgeable to be found is David Green. Very experienced & professional! We have also had them come to Park Hill to install. 2 VERY nice guys came out, the driver using his OWN truck to deliver as the Sanders truck was out of commission at the time. Mr. Green is why we keep coming back there though. He works every day but Thursday so ask for him! He can direct you with what will work for you and bring your phone for in-depth info if it's busy!!! Not the typical service we have had in the past. We were told the sales staff were all busy, if we wanted help we would have to find a sales staff with another customer & wait for them to finish up. Would have been better if they could have sent someone our direction with an approximate wait time. Long lines, long wait at checkout. They certainly were not staffed for a Saturday. I bought 4 red tipped photenias from Sanders in November and planted them that day. Spring arrives and all four have some black spot fungus. Researched it and find that if they have this fungus they had diseased roots. Called today to see if they wanted me to bring them back or a picture so they could replace them. They informed me that no they won't do ANYTHING. I paid over a hundred bucks for nothing. I'll never buy from them again. read more

Very disappointed with this company. If I could give zero stars I would. Purchased a tree last year in May, it now appears dead. Called them and told, oh sorry you have to pay extra for a warranty. Sorry our sales person didn't tell you about the warranty. It is posted at the register. Which I never saw when I was checked out and which the sales person never mentioned. A $225 tree is not small change and one would think a tree should make it to the next growing season or at least include some warranty. No, buyer beware! Sanders does not warranty trees without paying extra - unlike other nurseries. I will choose to go elsewhere for my landscaping needs. read more
