In the middle of the two day spam, I had a freak experience with a bunch of flies taking over a guest bedroom of mine and not only was the owner responding to my text messages late at night on what I should do to at least decrease the situation, but he arrived first thing at my home the following morning to help. I cannot be more grateful for contacting this company and not going with any of the others. They are hands-down the B E S T and have a long-time customer in me. Hidden damage from unsealed screws found years later; company ignores attorney letter…read more I am writing this review to warn other homeowners about the hidden, substandard work performed by this company. They were hired to install a critter guard on my home. Instead of correctly attaching the critter guard to the roof decking, they drove unsealed screws straight through my gutters and directly into the fascia underneath. Because this work was on the roof and entirely concealed from sight, I had no way of knowing it was installed incorrectly. The issue was only discovered years later when I hired a professional roofing contractor to install a new roof. They uncovered the unsealed screws penetrating my gutter system and fascia, which caused hidden damage. When I discovered this, I called the company to report the issue. They sent an employee out to inspect the property, but they left without offering any verbal explanation and never followed up with a resolution. I then had my attorney send them a formal letter regarding the damage. This company has completely ignored my inquiries, ignored my attorney's letter, and refused to respond or take responsibility for their work. I have comprehensive photographic evidence of the unsealed screws and the resulting damage. I highly advise looking elsewhere for a contractor who stands behind their work and responds to their clients. Buyer beware.

That is essentially what happened here. The excuse provided. We disagree. The home's storm drains are a few feet from the front door....not looked at,not remarked at, totally forgotten in the inspection. And they just happened to be full to the brim. Very obvious if they were to be looked at. We found out at the first rain since closing. Chance to walk away from house: taken from us. Chance to make preparations to fix it before the first rain causes an emergency: not provided to us. Chance to ask for concessions: didn't get it. Literally the second biggest thing possible, missed. What are 150 pages of inconsequential, small issues when you miss something like this??? Scrambling to find a drain pro on the day of 1st big rain in a while...when everyone else is doing the same thing: great. Seeing our yard under water was great too. Having only one company even available to come by after calling close to 20,also great. Almost $3000 in emergency unclogging of storm drains,wonderful too. That's just the immediate cost. There's way more coming. And when you contact Lunspro for a chance to make this remotely fair they say: sign a release and we'll give you half your inspection fee back Consider my story before thinking they'll do a decent job with their eyes. My experience with Mayday Pest Control started with a detailed inspection by Jonathan and an proposal that was very reasonable. It came with a one-year warranty and the option of renewing yearly at a cost that breaks down to about $20 a month. Scheduling was easy. They scheduled my one-week follow up while Michael was still on the job. Both Jonathan and Michael, the technian, were profession and unusually punctual, showing up at exactly when they said they would. That's key to me. Michael was delightful. He spent hours at my house looking for ways these crafty rats were getting into my house and blocking it. His description of the work he was doing sounded like the perfect approach. It's too soon to see if all this worked. But in the meanwhile, I'm telling my neighbors who are also under seige by these rodents that have been displaced by nearby contruction. Can't say enough positive about Mayday, Jonathan and Michael.
