The next day it was not working again. Called he said bring it back in I told him I was paying for another diagnostic test. Found out it was a bad compressor I'm telling them it under warranty. he saying a year mind you i called O'Reillys they told me it was a 2 year warranty. Paid over 1500 dollars and 229 for diagnostic AC still not working. Oreilly telling me I have to go thru Gomez to get it replaced & all parts are under warranty. I will not spend another dime there. Plus they charge 2% card fee. That applies to credit cards not debit cards. They charge my husband debit card 2%fee.

I had a muffler welded on my car at this shop.. it's a performance style exughst system just needed…read morea new muffler.. well I paid the 270$ and didn't inspect the work prior because I shouldn't have too... they left a exughst leak and poor penetrative welds that look horrible... almost like bubble gum... Manager then proceed to tell me (I don't see anything wrong with it... it will hold...) i said (thats not the point...) he then says (well you have 2 different types of steel on your exughst and what we put in is stainless....) I then said (I just had a whole cat back stainless exughst installed in the car a year and a half ago...) he goes (well that doesn't look like stainless down there...) ~points to a dirty section of the exughst~ he then says (I'll fix the spot we're it's not welded..) at this point any confidence of this man was gone in him correctly doing the job... And also saying he wasn't going to fix the rest if it at first till I said I want the whole thing re-done and that I want my money back so I can take it elsewhere.. then says that isn't gonna happen... I asked for a manager... he said (we'll I own the shop....) I said (that isn't good enough...) think it went over his head and probably should have clarified i was talking obout the work that was done.... he then smirked and said (I think it is...) I then said (just take the car down your not touching anything else....) and left with a leaking exughst and poor quality of welds... and horrible customer service... thank-you monkeywrench for costing me more work than what it should have been and the hassle of forking over more money out of my pocket for another shop to fix your mistakes.. it will be the last you make on my car because I will not bring it back...

He tells me 850 is the estimate but depending on what state my vehicle suspension compressor was made is going to depend on the price. I called NAPA for the part and to validate this state's making different parts which was a lie. Arguing was pointless to someone that just wants to take advantage ugh so over this place and I didn't even use them. Thanks to there bad customer service I did it myself for 300.

I would not recommend Brakes n Axels. I brought my vehicle in multiple times for the exact same…read moreissue, and instead of properly diagnosing the problem, they kept replacing parts and billing me each time while the issue continued. It felt more like guesswork than competent repair work. I eventually took the vehicle to another mechanic, who quickly identified the actual root cause and repaired it for a fraction of the cost I had already spent at this shop. To make matters worse, the second mechanic also found defective work from Brakes n Axels that is now causing additional issues. Paying repeatedly for unsuccessful repairs is frustrating enough, but finding out that previous work was poorly done makes it even worse. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. I also found out that they charged me for a job that they never did and when I confronted them, they got very rude and told me see you in court crazy how they went there, but I guess that's what we will do then do not trust these people.They will charge you for things that they do not do. They are not good people. Do your research. They also have a F with a Better Business Bureau.

My 2013 Altima needed some touchups to its struts and suspension. They were able to fix my car and get me back on the road safely. Couple days later, I noticed something wasn't operating correctly, the team told me to bring the car back in for them to have a second look. Again they were so understanding and accommodated me. I absolutely love that they didn't try to charge me for the additional service I needed to bring my car in for service. I recommend this place and would take my vehicles there in the future.
