Here's why: Unprofessional and Costly Behavior Denisse Cortes refused to show me the property unless I signed a six-month exclusive agreement to make her my agent for all transactions in the Poconos. This was unreasonable and coercive, as I wanted the freedom to choose my own agent. Her refusal forced me to hire another agent just to gain access to the property, costing me an unexpected $4,000-$5,000 due to Pennsylvania's laws requiring buyers to pay their agent's commission. Deceptive Practices When I traveled 200 miles for the home inspection, the garage door was locked despite prior arrangements. Looking through the window, I saw what appeared to be an illegal structure, raising serious concerns about code violations. Denisse's actions blocked a proper inspection, jeopardizing the deal and wasting my time and resources. Dismissive and Arrogant Owner When I reported these issues to Dominick Sacci, he accused me of lying and claimed the garage was just a "closet." His dismissive attitude and refusal to address these legitimate concerns were appalling. Now, he is making false claims, stating I never had direct contact with Denisse, which is entirely untrue. We had personal conversations and exchanged emails. Sacci's denial is an attempt to destroy my credibility and avoid taking responsibility for Denisse's actions. Post-Sale Neglect and Threats After the sale, I discovered a nearby development site had removed the trees that were a major selling point for the property. When I reached out to Denisse for assistance, she ignored me. When I contacted Sacci, he threatened to sue me if I reached out again. What I Lost All I wanted was to find a retirement home in the Poconos where I could enjoy nature with my family. As a 62-year-old New Yorker, I dreamed of leaving the concrete jungle for the peace and beauty of the outdoors. Instead, Sacci's agency and their unethical actions derailed my plans and cost me financially and emotionally. Do Not Trust This Company I have reported these actions to the Pennsylvania Attorney General and will be filing a complaint with the Realtors Ethics Board. I also plan to publish emails proving that Sacci knew about the illegal structure and lied about it. If you value honesty, integrity, and professionalism, I strongly urge you to avoid Poconos Mountains Real Estate, Inc., Dominick Sacci, and Denisse Cortes. My experience was riddled with dishonesty, negligence, and threats. Don't make the same mistake I did. I'm a 62 year old man and he treated me like trash. His action can ruin my reputation. To go to a broker and make a complaint about his agent and ask for help and only told ridiculed and dismissed for me is outrageous this is a man who as been getting away with this for 30 years. I will make every effort to bring this man to justice. It's not only about me but every future customer who has a issue in the future with this man. How can he allow his agents to get away with this. To be honest I just feel like crying having gone through this mans abuse. I only wish that I in someway can reach out to the property authorities and have his license removed so others won't have to deal with him. He says he is going to sue me he should worry about the lawsuit that is coming his way from me. Whatever it takes and no matter what it costs me it will be be worth it if it brings this man to justice and understand you just don't treat people the way he treated me.

Donna worked with us for almost 20 months as we were navigating 2025 market for the best bang for your buck. I am retired enlisted military and our funds reflected as such, enough in most markets to be fine but in the Pocono MTN region you just have to accept that you will overpay for a home due to its location (Poconos) and everything (mostly) is a HOA that allows STR due to the pandemic. Once we tempered our expectation to what the reality of current costs and what the Poconos truly was her advice made perfect sense. There were bumps along the way and, nothing is perfect but those last second viewings - she was on it, when she was unwell or unavailable - her husband stepped in for continuity, home inspector she recommended - did great work and briefed me on what to ACTUALLY expect to spend getting the home where we want it aesthetically and for comfort. Donna and her Team did an excellent job, and they all make a conscience effort to remember as much as they can about us and our son despite numerous clients i am sure they receive. Not always correct but close enough and I see the effort and we appreciate them and the team. They will be the ones to sale this home when we upgrade. I understand each has their own personal experience but from March 2024 to Aug 2025, she and her team did us a great service.

I agreed to give her 2.5 and the buyer agent 2.5, but this unethical realtor wrote 5% into out contract for herself. She then tried to clobber my listing with an offer 25k below asking , with a 7.5% commission due at close which wasn't what I agreed to. Then wanted me to pay 5k cash back to the buyer who didn't have any money to buy the house or pay closing costs , with 159k fha pre approval. Our agreement was cash or conventional. Worst realtor in the area. Unethical liar. ​

The closing she was late and left early. It was a new girl who did the closing at a lawyers office....taxes were messed up and it cost me a thousand dollars in rebates. I'm lucky I saw an email that looked like a tax bill....I called and was shocked to find a house I paid cash for in full. Was going to be on sheriff sale list due to the incompetence of all those involved. Very greedy....i would never use Mary Enke Realty based on their aloof uncaring attitude....They really could care less. Commission is their only mission. Enjoy.
