I took my three cats here for a flea bath and they were great! I was nervous at first because I've…read morenever taken my cats to a groomer but the staff were very sweet and let me come inside to watch a little bit of the process. Dana is great and I can tell that she genuinely cared about my (flea) issue and she told me exactly what to do to get rid of them. I would definitely recommend this place. I drove 40 minutes to get here and I'm so glad I did! UPDATE: After I had my cats groomed, Dana recommended me to buy a certain product (flea pesticide that was safe on animals) from a store near by, and was helpful in getting me directions and everything I needed. (Like I mentioned) What I didn't mention, as it happened after my initial review, is that after spraying the repellent and flea pesticide all over my room and apartment, was I started to have a horrible headache after laying in my room. I looked up the pesticide that she told me to get, which she told me to spay ON MY CAT, and all over my clothes and everything, is that permethrin is extremely toxic to cats. Needless to say, I relocated my cats afterwards and gave them baths. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because thankfully my cats did not die. Once it happened, I called Dana and they seemed shocked to hear it's toxic, because she re assured me it's safe. She said she would call me right back and I never heard from her again. We found Penny's. This place was amazing!! The owner, I think her name is Barbara, was so kind and truly pampered our fur baby. She actually sat in her bed with her to comfort her and even read to her! Edna's room was comfortable and sunny and had relaxing music playing. If this place was near where we lived, we would use it exclusively.
