Whatever you're looking for, the St. Joe farmers market is a great summer staple that allows you to buy fresh food and enjoy the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan.  If you're here on a Saturday in the summer or early fall, I would definitely try to stop by.

I love organic, but we live in the Midwest, not Southern California where groceries and produce stands are oozing with organic-everything because the produce has a short journey. But, if you MUST have organic produce, hunt a location specifically catering to that need. It will be more expensive and not likely right off the Red Arrow Hwy down the road from a popular state park and campground. I opted for The Almanac, which was avocado, maldon sea salt, goat cheese, honey and microgreens on a slice of sourdough. I added a poached egg. Yummerz!
