My house was built in 2004 and since I've moved in 4 years ago there's been odd electrical "quirks" that needed addressing: two wall switches sometimes made an odd "click" sound behind the switch plate when turned on; a dimmable chandelier and ceiling fan fixtures' bulbs were flickering and/or pulsing intermittently; and a ceiling fixture's light would surge extra bright for a split second when the switch was turned on.
