Rich and his team did all the electrical work on our farm, Twilight Meadows....it was a lot of work, and hundreds of feet of trenching too! He ran power and outlets across our entire 10 Acres giving us the ability to hook up water heaters at our different animal pastures. He also ran new ethernet to give us the ability to run surveillance cameras and broadcast wireless across the whole farm. On top of that, he setup automated flood lighting everywhere so we can do farm chores at night, which I can control from an App on my phone! I used Rich's services to repair 3 different external electrical problems in Napa (at the same visit). He diagnosed and repaired them all promptly and professionally. He worked efficiently and didn't waste a minute of time (important as these guys charge by the hour). I had no subsequent issues with 2 of them. One fix failed after Rich left, but he came back and readjusted it without additional charge. Everything has been A okay since then (several months now). He was easy to communicate with and the charges were all very reasonable. I will definitely use him again for electrical issues. I'm glad to have found him. Update: a year later, had Rich come out to determine why an outlet was not working. It was just an off circuit breaker. For a flip of a switch, he charged full price. Beware, check your circuit breaker before calling Top Notch. :) read more

A few weeks ago, my husband and I called Top Notch to upgrade our electrical panel and do some other work here in our Napa home. Other electricians I contacted did not even return my calls. Rich came out the next day, gave us an estimate on the spot, and agreed on a time/day to do the work. The team arrived on time, did the work efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. After we scheduled the work, we realized that there was a discount coupon for Top Notch Electric in the Napa Valley Savings Book (by the way, pick one up for $30 at Whole Foods, Raleys and other retailers). When asked, Rich gave us an additional discount off the price he quoted because we had the coupon. Admittedly, electricians do not come cheap, but this was great work at a fair price. I hired Rich to re-wire my house during an extensive remodel. We also had to install a new electrical panel. Rich contacted PG&E to investigate how best to bring in the new line. I was able re-route the wires to my house that worked out great thanks to Rich. He was always responsive to my questions. We communicated mostly by email which worked best for me. He and his crew did a great job and worked with me in making sure the location of switches, outlets lights, etc were all where I wanted them. I would recommend him and use him again. read more

Never heard back with a quote for the work. I left a message which is his house number. If I didn't think his child would hear my message, I would leave him a message on how I feel.
