About a year ago I decided to try to get myself back in shape. Which is not an easy undertaking…read moresince I'm in my 50's. On the recommendation of a friend I went to see Doctor Fox, and I've very glad I did. He gave me a thorough physical and then scheduled a second appointment so that we could discuss the lab results after they were completed. We discussed the results and my concerns and he was very patient in listening to my worries, offering his professional observations, and discussing possible ways to approach my problems. Since I'm in my fifties, he referred me to some other specialists in the downtown DC area for some additional tests and screening and then followed up with me about the results. I still have a ways to go, but I've very glad that I'd had the opportunity to meet Dr. Fox and to work with him. To be honest, I was dreading having to deal with my physical issues. And although it hasn't been easy, Dr. Fox has been patient and sympathetic as I've worked through my issues and at least started on the road back to good health. And he is an easy going person so I didn't feel nervous in raising my problems or worries when meeting with him. I have always found his office staff to be very pleasant, polite, and easy to deal with. And his medical technicians in particular are just very nice people and go out of their way to put you at ease during blood draws and tests. One final thing I'd like to share, we recently had a late season snow storm hit the DC area and my appointment with Dr. Fox was scheduled for the morning of the storm. He called me---that's right, the doctor called me---to see if I wanted to change my appointment so as to avoid coming out in the storm. When is the last time you heard of a doctor personally handling his appointments to help patients deal with bad weather? Pretty unusual right, but I want to include that here just because I think it's a good indication of the dedicated physician that Dr. Fox really is. So if you're in need of a good doctor, I would recommend him without hesitation.

I walked in and was immediately met with hostility when I mentioned that my mom would be on the phone, on mute, just listening to the appointment. He angrily replied that "he is NOT a pediatrician, doesn't deal with parents, and will NOT speak louder for her (which I didn't even ask for)." It is completely normal to bring someone to an appointment for support. As an oncologist and hematologist, you would think he would know this... Anyways he asked me what I was in the office for and I responded to which he quickly yelled "I don't know what that means." He clearly did but for some reason had the goal of being rude to me. I was polite throughout. This behavior existed throughout the entirety of the appointment where he proceeded to shout at me for not bringing up a potential treatment option myself. I went to him, a "doctor," for a consultation so why would I be providing recommendations? I cannot emphasize enough DO NOT GO TO HIM. The other reviews have to be fake.

This review is only concerning the fact that I got an echocardiogram done in the MOH Silver Spring…read moreOffice at the end of April 2024. The report was never uploaded to my chart. I inquired about this to my doctor at MOH (who had ordered the echocardiogram). I contacted the front desk at MOH who said I should contact medical records. I called medical records multiple times. No one returned my call. It is now the end of June 2024 and no sign of the echocardiogram results. I have never had a practice lose a report before, and they don't seem to care. Terrible.

Great doctors, nurses and staff...for some a second home and the new location continues to accommodate all...without that cold corner. Love, love love it. Parking validation is another great perk(treatments can be LONG) but once you visit the practice that is just another great benefit on the way to healing. I am incredibly disappointed and hurt by the lack of care and empathy at this office. I had an…read more11:00 AM appointment but got stuck in an hour of beltway traffic due to an accident. I called ahead and was told there was a 15-minute grace period. I walked in at 11:16 AM, and Dr. Parikh flat-out refused to see me, providing zero explanation or flexibility for being one minute late. As a first-time expectant mom, these appointments mean the world to me. To be turned away after an hour of stressful driving was heartbreaking, but the attitude of the staff made it worse. The receptionists were completely unsympathetic and acted like I was a bother. A little kindness or a simple smile would have gone a long way, especially since turning me away means waiting another three weeks for an appointment. I ultimately decided not to reschedule. This experience completely ruined my trust in this practice, and I will not be returning.
