I was told directly by a staff member that the cancellation would be processed and that any fees would be waived. Fast forward a week later...no refund. After following up, I was met with zero accountability. The owner, Lisa, showed no willingness to resolve the situation, despite the fact that I never stayed at the property and contacted them immediately after booking. This isn't about policy it's about basic customer service and integrity. When a business tells a customer something will be handled, they should stand by it. Instead, I'm now out $130 for a stay that never happened. If something goes wrong with your booking, don't expect understanding or flexibility here. That alone should be enough to make you think twice.

The lone wheelchair ramp was thoughtfully placed on the far side, away from the back door. No handicap spots in the rear, none on the side -- but priorities were clear: the Diamond Member sign got moved. Entertainment was provided free of charge. A salsa convention upstairs went strong until about 3:30 a.m. For the early risers, the garbage truck arrived at 5:15. It took twenty tries to line up with the dumpster, but hey, practice makes perfect. I can still hear the beep, beep, beep. The price? About one-third higher than any property I've stayed in -- including Washington, D.C. The night manager David? He found the whole thing amusing.

The light shining from underneath the door at night, SpaceX can see! 3. Paper thin towels. 4. Attempted to call front desk, the phone didn't work as it wasn't plugged into the wall jack, which is obstructed by the furniture. Again, for the price, it's not a horrendous place. No free breakfast included (as of 12/2014). Despite that, it was still one of my favorite cheap motel stops on our cross country trip. Checking in at midnight consisted of me ringing the bell, no doubt waking up the hotel manager who let me in (and thank God she let me because it was -18 outside) and filling out a form and making payment. The one policy they have which may turn off some customers is they ask to make a copy of your credit card and drivers license for any guests who check in after midnight. The idea of a paper copy of your credit card may be enough to scare off some guests, but I trust my CC enough to know I won't be liable for any fake charges and whether places make a copy or just swipe it...either way, they can have it on file, so it really didn't matter to me. The room was inviting, small, cozy and very clean. It took us a while to figure out how to turn the heat on which was a serious problem because it was -18 outside. Aside from turning the thermostat up, you need to slide it on the "on position" which is a very small switch beneath the thermometer and then you need to also increase the temperature on the vent that's adjacent to the bathroom. They need to have a manual for this or something -- my wife was seriously sleeping in a sweater and vest until I figured it out about half an hour after she was already asleep, which resulted in her waking up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat. Check out was easy and the hotel manager recommended breakfast at the place next door. Would definitely stay here again if I found myself in the area.

I told him we would be arriving late after the office was closed and he made arrangements for a hidden key to get us into the room. The room was Very clean and smelled nice. AC was loud but it worked great. We loved the big fridge and were able to freeze our water bottles for our cooler. We didn't use the microwave. The bed was super comfortable. We got a great sleep. There was no breakfast offered in the morning that I could see. Located just off the highway and easy to get to.
